Good effort vs Zak and the Sagat game - neither are easy matchups. Zak is a very tough customer here in the UK. I play him from time to time and his strength is his spacing. Check out the combo I found vs Rog in the combo section if you have not seen it already as there were a couple of times that would have landed in that match. c,lp xx HHS, EX buttslam - standing Rog only and all hits of HHS need to hit to get the EX buttslam to connect. Big damage and you are standing over your opponent ready for mix ups.
Thanks I had no Idea that HHS, EX buttsmash was possible. I haven’t taken much time properly learning Hondas frames and combos, all I know is that cr.lp, HHS is my best friend.
I feel that I could’ve taken that Sagat I did a lot of weird mistakes in the third round.
does not help with abunch of people calling out, but thats part of it I guess.
Another thing that might help are some HHS, HHS mix ups. I have just started adding these and although the link is tight, 50% of the time they don’t expect the second lot of hands and are trying to throw some normal out that gets stuffed with hands. I even do it if the first hands are blocked (only from time to time) as most people are dying to get something out. just be careful against shotos as they uppercuts can knock you out of it if you mess the link.
