I’ve been playing with ken for a while now and he has become an integral part of my team, I’ve found that some times the HCF+k axe kicks and be used a quick long range poke/anti air, the short and forward versions dont have too much recovery time and can be cancled out to the overhead in case they short jump and try to poke you. When the k button is held Ken’s body becomes very thin and most pokes that the opponent throws while in this motion wont connect, so all that you have to do is release the kick when they whiff and the kick will connect, example of this is blanka’s crouching fierce. Axe kick his fierce a few times, and you find it easer to move in on a turtling blanka.
Lol. I was a hopeless CVS2 player. But recently a friend of mine made me a mas stick and alot of things have become easier. BUt one thing i thought i would never be able to do was a small combo chain with shoto’s into super. BUt just reading alittle of you guys’ post on here while playing on my mas stick, i got it down. I dont do it consistantly by any means. But it is MUUUUUUUCHHHH easier then my friends made it seem in the past. Lol. THey arent as good as i thouhgt. THank GOd For Shoryuken!!!
I got a good method of doing cr. mk into super
do it this way when you wanna do cr. watever (lk,mp,mk…) into super
down->down-fwd -> mk -> down->down-fwd->fwd->P
so the motion you do before pressing mk is registered and you only need to do the 2nd hadoken motion for the super after that
works the same with chun-li’s c.lp c.lp c.mp super…
