I just got my email last night for a PS3 HitBox order. I decided I can just get it dual-modded next year for Devastation 2012. I requested Red/White buttons even though the list of colors they mention on their site doesn’t include Red and White. Hopefully I can get them or wait a bit to get them, but I’m so excited to play on one of these! A few people had them at Devastation (smaller ones) and I immediately found myself doing special motions at 100%. Getting used to blocking with my fingers (I don’t play SC or MK) will take some time as well as jump/down locations but I can totally see this being the next step to improving my execution so I can focus on more fun things (like mind games, mix-ups, resets, etc.)

Vicko modded it using a Cthulu +, an Imp and 2 SOCD chips as detailed in this thread. It took a while (and I really do mean a while haha) but we got it done.

I’ve only played it on a 360 for an hour, but it plays like a charm so far.

Yeah they are quite an endurance test to mod hahaha. Did you guys end up having to go with a shorter cord than the 15ft cord, or did it all work fine with it? When I modded my customer’s HitBox we had to use a shorter cord since there was too much of a voltage drop/current loss to power all the extra stuff inside.

Yo, thanks a lot for your help by the way! We got away with using the 15 ft cord believe it or not. We had that concern too because it may be too much draw, but we got 5v’s running through the SOCD chips and the Cthulu + just fine.

I would like to know as well. I would also like to know, if I place an order, does HitBox have Purple pushbuttons? And will the USB issue will be fixed, in a non-ghetto way?

I wish they answer their EMails I wrote one last week and have yet to receive a reply.

Yeah it’ll be fixed. I was the one that made that comment on the front page of the hitbox website. I got a response from one of the huffer brothers explaining to me that it was ONLY an issue with the first version of the ps360 which is what reo has at the moment. The new ps360+ and the cthulhu won’t/don’t have that issue.

Some folks around here are looking for a adapter that they could use with the hitbox to play on the 360. I have personally tried the controller converter pro and can confirm that it doesn’t work with the hitbox. Here is my post on it at TYM

It’s going to be soon I think. There’s a lot we have to prepare for and a lot of business we have to take care of, so it might not be within the month or so. I think the biggest thing we’re working on right now is getting down what we want to show in the video down to a mastery level. After all, if we show you some really cool stuff but we don’t have it perfected, you have no reason to believe what we’re showing you is good, right?

Just be patient, and all I’m going to say about what’s coming is it’s going to seem really goofy, but I promise it will blow your mind and you have to trust that we aren’t showing you silly things for no reason, there’s logic behind everything we do.

Just got my hitbox today and I could not be happier with it. I thought it would be a difficult jump from primarily pad to this but the only thing that I find difficult on this after roughly 30 minutes of using it are standing 360s and 720s. Jump in 360s and 720s are coming out so i know it is just a speed issue. All in all, its a great product that I plan on using as my default choice.

Funny you should ask, I’ve been messing around with possible artwork to take the edge off all this waiting. I found a legit template online and shopped this together.

I actually wanted to ask if some one who knows Japanese could check the text I’ve put on there. I wanted it to say something similar to my forum title but I don’t know if what I used actually makes sense. I’m still deciding on which artwork to use, but this is the best one so far.

The BG isn’t mine but if you’re cool with that I don’t mind sharing.
