i went on the waiting list in June or July i cant remember the exact date im afraid, and they emailed me saying they didnt have all blue or black buttons but told me which they had. they were very fast with emails and really helpful, one of the options they gave me was red and black buttons so i asked for that one
Hey guys I have a question about USPS
So today I was checking the tracking of my hitbox and found this.
EDIT: NEVERMIND! my hitbox is HERE!
WOOHO BUT I can only pick it up on saturday D: Stupid independence day! lol
Well when you put it like that it makes sense⦠lol. Still though, it seems more complex than I thought it would be.
Gotta research more on this then⦠hmm.
I have to admit, Iām getting better. Getting better all the time. Once again, mad props to the Huffer brothers for getting this kind of thing to go legit! Itās exciting to see more and more people try the Hitbox style!
Really wanting one of these, but I play fighting games on the 360, soā¦
Main reason I want it is so that I can play anywhere like I could when I used to use a control pad. I canāt with a stick, and I have some pretty wierd/strict requirements when it comes to placing my stick for proper execution, and I cannot play with it in my lap. I also already play the bass, so using my left hand for directions should come easily.
took me about a full week before i became fully integrated with using the hitbox and i can honestly say its a strict preference to use it now. going back to stick feels sloppy and i dont want to deal it ever again
I got my email for a HitBox being available, but decided to wait for the PS360 models roll out, and left a comment saying as much when I put my name in last month. So just to be clear⦠if I just sit and wait Iām on a list for that? Or did I miss the memo where I have to send an email or something?
Iād like to know if thatās something thatās āsafeā to do as well. Iād rather have my name already as close to the top of the 360 list as it can be, even if they wonāt be available until December or whenever.
Thatās how I felt on my cousinās hitbox after playing like 5 games of 3S online with it. My little namcostick just felt foreign afterwards. This is great because now I wonāt ever have to worry about switching between korean and japanese for tekken and street fighter, respectively.
This is the response I got from JohnGrimm after asking pretty much the same question a couple pages back:
"The way we have it set up right now is that the waiting list is an overall waiting list and the selecting of the model is just a formality since we only have the one model currently. When we get our dual mod boards in itāll be selectable on the waiting list again and everyone who signed up on the waiting list for a dual mod will get one even though they picked the PS3/PC model.
We have no intentions of forcing a model on someone they donāt want, those who want a dual mod will get it, although they will have to wait longer. If you leave a comment on the waiting list or even when we ask you if youāre ready to order youāll be taken care of."
I read that. I just wanted to make sure I was interpreting it correctly. Sounds like I was. Thanks.
Hey all,
Jaleel from focusattack.com here. Just wanted to say that those waiting for their dual-modded HitBoxes will get them as we work with Akishop to eventually release the new PS360+. If youāre not aware, check out the pre-order status list for news about the PS360+'s progress, plus why it could be worth the wait:
http://www.focusattack.com/pages/Preorder-Status.html
One more thing to add: The PS360+ will have both a RJ45 and USB-B jack. You can choose to outfit your joystick with either: USB for XB360, PS3 and PC, or RJ45 for PS1/PS2 and all of the above
Just wanted to chime in, and I hope Iām not intruding. HitBox kindly ordered several units of the PS360 from us, and we want to get our hands on the PS360+ as much as you do. Weāre keeping in touch with Per of Akishop as closely as possible, and will keep you updated on any new information as it comes in by posting to the Preorder Status page.
I check akishops site on a daily basis just to see whats up. Apparently theyāre going to reveal the thing later this month. Could be quite a while longer before they produce and ship the thing. I wouldnt be surprised if I was on the waiting list for the dual mod for a full year by the time this ordeal is over.
While I know this wonāt make anyone feel better about the ordeal, Per of Akishop recently told me that he is very aware that people are tired of waiting. He is, too. The manufacturers he is using to get the PS360+ made is mainly why the product isnāt complete yet. Thatās business sometimes ā you hope for the best when you work with new manufacturersā¦not all are as professional as we expected. He gets many, many emails from people angry about it, and has spent a great deal of $ to get it done.
Weāll all be happy when the PS360+ is finally out and shipping everywhere. Weāll be one of the first shops to get them, and will start shipping those pre-orders immediately afterwards.
Wow, the bigger Hit Box looks so big from that photograph. I donāt know what to do⦠Buy the small version or the behemoth version that has better features. Did not realize such a decision had to be made when my place in line came up. Decisions, decisionsā¦
Quick question, would this mean that for dualmodding a PS3 HitBox with an Imp V2 and a 360 pad, I can use the Imp V2ās instructions for the Cthulhu+? Will it still autodetect?
edit: YES you can.
Thanks for posting that pic. I was trying to decide on the best looking color scheme for the buttons. Itās either this or the all yellow for sure.
What is the difference in size between the large and small? Pretty sure I played on a large.
What features does the ālargeā version have that the small does not? I was personally wanting one that would rest comfortablly on my lap or pretty much any surface, not one that seems like itās much larger than the TE that I already have.
1 day Hitbox user
So I can make better shoryukens, faster teleports etc.
Learning curve: Since I didnt even have a stick to begin sometimes it gets difficult, but relatively easy once you calm down
Since I was so hyped I jumped right away in player matches and boy I got my ass kicked! But I learned a lot through those matches how to super jump and follow up etc.
Marvel is perfect for this
Street fighter IV is a little bit challenging but easy once you understand the basics
So Im really HAPPY with the hitbox
I really liked the design so far I played a lot a I didnt feel any pain on my wrists
The only thing that I didnt like was the fact that the plexiglass(?) gets fingerprints like a bitch! But that just my personal cleaning maniac persona xD
Also WTF factor looks like the hitbox team confuse my last name for an actual name (really? LOL)
If someone has the ālittleā hitbox could you post a picture?
EXTRA: Please forgive me if I made some orthography mistakes since english is not my first language.
I guess that⦠feel free to ask me questions (?) =D Hitbox users unite!
EDIT: I really liked the colors but⦠Im pretty shure that I specially put on the comments section that I wanted ALL movement buttons yellow and yet why the jump button is not yellow??? LOL
Anyway Thanks hitbox team
