Hit Box - We so S Tier1!

Have you guys considered going the Paewang Revolution PS3/Xbox 360 pcb from etokki.com?

I talked to them about that already.
They didn’t want to go that route.

Will 360 models (dual or not) have the benefit of going neutral to avoid SOCD’s?

Yes! We have a process that actually overrides pre programed state of scod’s in the game (mvc3). So no double blocks. No walking back sonic booms etc

If I buy the PS3 only hitbox right now and install the Paewang myself, will I still have the possibility of SOCD?

That’s a good question. But I believe that will be the case. That’s only an issue in mvc3 on the 360. But come umvc3 nitsuma confirmed that issue being fixed

Anyone out there go from stick to hitbox?

I’m playing around with mine now, what was your learning curve like? So far it’s a little rough, found some fun tricks and I can pull a few combo’s I had trouble with before but I’m missing basic blocks here and there.

High/low blocking is the hardest part for me.

Half circles was really hard for me starting out. I don’t play grapplers anymore but 360 wasn’t too hard to get. Able to do it normally going both directions starting from back or down/back. I still can’t do 720’s well enough even with jumping. I always end up spamming the buttons thinking it’ll work. I’m sure if I actually devote some time practicing it, it’d be better.

Never had trouble blocking. Although I feel like my down button is starting to wear out…

DP execution is insane with the SF4 short cuts, I play honda and can really slam well with it. high low blocks are trouble and the jump button thus far really feels foreign and guiding my cross overs is tricky.

ARRGGHH!! I can’t wait to get my hands on one! I want to experience this learning curve first-hand!

After about a hour so far I can pull off a lot of nice spam tricks, can’t do a 720, 360’s are rough.

I find I can high/low block well holding back and using down like a block button.

This is a bummer. I really want to support you guys but I don’t want to wait for PS360+. I already have an extra TE 360 PCB that I’d like to build a hitbox out of with 24mm buttons. If you guys won’t sell just a DIY case, I wonder if a custom builder out there would be willing? Does anyone know if one of the builders is already creating something like this, so that I may not have to pay hundreds of dollars just for the case? I’m open to any material really though lighter would be better if I had a choice.

Really wish I could just buy directly from you guys though, since I can handle all the buttons/wiring myself :frowning: Please PM me if you change your stance on this because I’d love to support you and this product.

I guess another option is to get in line for a PS3/PC one and hope I could mod it with my TE pcb… but I wonder how long I’d have to wait?

V3 of my unofficial Hitbox template! Now with customizable button colors!

Hope you don’t mind, but I made a few minor adjustments to your template.

I included both logos, the black/white and the white/black variation for dark backgrounds, and I moved the button symbols to a (in my opinion) cleaner position and made them individual layers instead of one layer. I also made the button color scheme the same as my first Hit Box just because.

Baller. Looks great. When the official button positions are released, we’ll have a decent template you can actually cut artwork from.

Woot. Got my email today and ordered! Cant wait to learn something new!

Gratz! Out of curiosity when did you add yourself to the waiting list?

I honestly dont remember. Maybe in march?
