Yeah you’d have to drill a hole about the size of a Neutrik hole, the two screw holes, and strip the pro cable USB B end so you can connect it to the board in the PS4 Hitbox. At least, when I had a PS4 hitbox, it was connected to the board by the wires. I don’t think there’s a USB B port in that stick. If you put a UFB in it it would be a lot easier to do, you’d just have to worry about drilling the holes for the Pro cable port. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
Thanks for the response. I’m actually going to install a UFB in my hitbox this weekend. That’s why I was curious
Hi guys new here. Was looking for some proof of Hitboxs’ legitimacy in Tekken tournaments. Just saw one in grand finals vs JDCR. https://youtu.be/_MCeVh8kPw8 . I’m definitely going to give it a go. Also I want to ask, is the brook pcb capable of SOCD?
yes the brooks UFB is capable of SOCD
@TrenchCoatJones Thanks for the response. I’m going to proceed and try to build one. Would’ve bought one but the shipping to my side of the world will be more than double the price. And then there’s customs to deal with so… Kudos to the Hitbox team. You guys Rock!
Believe I had seen a pic floating around before, but can’t find it now. Anyone able to show me how a UFB mounted inside a Hitbox looks? Confused as to if it just goes in the same place as the original PCB, or if it needs new mounting feet.
Also, am I able to keep touchpad/PS/share/start button capabilities if I switch? May not bother otherwise tbh.
For you guys having buttons that randomly stop working, try swapping out the button first. I’ve had a rash of clear 24mm Sanwa buttons that just started malfunctioning all of a sudden. Not sure why or if it’s a defect with a certain batch. But I’ve had 4 go out in 5 weeks. Good luck
Sooooooooooooooooooooo did you install the ufb?
I’ve noticed as well these new clear Sanwa’s don’t feel as sturdy as the older ones either, they feel sort of mushier for lack of a better description
Hi Guys. I’ve made the jump. Just finished building mine.

First try out and I’m motionless. LOL. I’m excited! Let’s go!
That makes @TH_AjeTs and me (AFAIK) the only ones in Nigeria using these. I’m aiming to make the Hitbox popular here.
@VarmintBaby . The Action buttons and Up are Seimitsus. The other directions are sanwas, and the Home, Touch, Share and Options are Crown buttons from my old Saulabi stick.
@khodu Yeah I was mainly talking about the Home, Touch, etc. Those buttons looked weird. Cool. Good job dude.
The funniest thing keeps happening. Each time I place the Hitbox on my lap, my left hand keeps reaching for the phantom Lever. LOL. It’s so funny. But two hours in and I’m hitting my combos already. Got a headache too. Sure it’s from the re-wiring in my brain. Definitely sticking to this till I’m great at it.
Came across a very interesting Tech for MVCI by this guy(Hitbox Punisher) on YouTube. It’s called D. S. S. H. Very nice.
Hi I’m new around here. I’m interested in the Hitbox & I’m in the process of building one. Does anyone happen to have a Official Hitbox Layout that I can use? I have my own custom Box that is similar in size, I just need to drill the Holes which I don’t have the layout for. Also How do I properly Print the Layout?
Hi @NashQV. I don’t have the official Hitbox one, but I went to the Panzer Hitbox (Jasens customs) site and used theirs to build mine. Their layout is just a tiny bit different to the official Hitbox one. Just a little spacing difference. There is an official one on Deviant art I think. Check there. Kudos to the official Hitbox team.
