So if I placed an order for a ps4 hitbox today, what would be my turn around time? It seems like some people in this thread were waiting a long time, but is there stock that can ship now?
So I got the HitBox, I took a lot of photos, and Iāll be posting a review soon
Build quality, packaging, overall is excellent. I am very pleased with it; very professionally made
Bought it specifically for SFV PC
Iām still trying very hard to get used to it - I play fighting games best on Keyboard, 2nd is joystick
Whenever I play on Keyboard, I used the standard WASD for controls, so itās difficult for me to get used the āJumpā being below but I hope to get used to it soon
Execution is on point, able to do more complex combos with much more consistency. Worth the wait and $$$
Thanks! If you have Blazblue or GG Xrd on PC, do you mind trying it with those games? Planning to order mine soon, but the product page is a bit sparse regarding PC compatibility.
Iām having some minor problems with the HitBox. I played it for about 4 hours straight for Street Fighter V for PC. I was in training mode exclusively to get used to the controls and practice combos. Iām using X360E for the HitBox controller to work, that part is fine. I was using the same X360CE setup for my Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 for PC, and that was 100% perfect
The problem is occurs very rare, usually about 1/100 button presses.
Basically whenever I very rapidly tap the control buttons (notably āLeftā and āRightā buttons) sometimes when I press the full press the button down fully the it doesnāt move the character and he just stands still. Eg, I double tap Right button to Dash, and then I hold the Right button down to make the character walk after dash, instead of walking after the dash, the character stands still after the dashl.
If I lift the button immediately after and press Right again, the character still wonāt move, but I need to wait about a full 1 second to fully release the button, and press it down again fully to move
Has anyone else experienced this, or do you know whatās wrong?
I opened up the HitBox and checked inside, and all of the connections were good and connected and in very good condition. Nothing was loose. I checked everything and tried again and it still happened. Again, overall itās rare when it occurs, but it does affect my gameplay. Itās most noticible after doing double taps, and Iāve only noticed it on the āLeftā and āRightā buttons
A few people posted about similar issues starting from page 68 and it was supposedly caused by accidental activation of turbo when pressing start + lk. You might want to go over those posts and see if they help. Hopefully its not a hardware or firmware issue since I just ordered mine.
I was once like you too. In fact, the change to my controls were more than just the up button.
I had my buttons mapped Heavy Medium Light and I had a separate button for throw and focus.
But on getting the hitbox, I realized itāll be more comfortable to use lp+lk on my index and middle finger, than on my pinky. So I had to ditch my Heavy medium Light arrangement and go with the default which is Light Medium Heavy. Also had to learn to use Focus attack the normal way, coz on the keyboard I used the spacebar with my thumb. Lol
I think it took me about 4 months to get fully comfortable with it. Iāve never regretted getting a the Hitbox & I think Iām still the only one in Nigeria that owns one. B)
Probably because it means youāre not working on a project he would have enjoyed. But it is a cool feature. i hope the smash community accepts it! If not for the cool factor but for the health factor for smashers.
We havenāt stopped working on anything weāre doing! If thatās the fear then donāt worry, production goes on as planned. We have not even started production of Smash Boxes yet, that will all depend on the Kickstarter. Everything is the same as it was.
