Hit Box - We so S Tier1!

Hi, I’ve been experiencing some issues with my hitbox. I’ve sent a few emails to hitboxes@gmail.com but haven’t received any reply at all to my emails which was somewhat disappointing for me, does anyone know if that email address is still active?

In the chance anyone might know what is wrong:

When I plug the USB cable in to a xbox360, it randomly cuts in and back out while playing and sometimes doesn’t detect it at all when it’s first plugged in. The cable slightly tilting seems to cut it out sometimes, too.
When I plug it into my PC, it cuts in and out and sometimes actually comes up with a USB Power Surge error (on windows 7).

Do you know what would be wrong with the Hitbox, and if I can fix it myself? I’m guessing it could be related to a faulty connection from the USB wire onto the PCB perhaps? I’ve never opened the hitbox up and looked inside. The hitbox previously worked fine until this started happening. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The email is still active, but Shawn has been busy with some important business that has unfortunately taken his time away from answering emails. I do apologize about that. The first thing I would suggest is trying another USB cable to see if it’s the USB cord itsef being faulty. Any USB A to B would work fine. If it’s not the USB, check to see if maybe something is shorting out the PCB. Any wires that got loose and aren’t where they’re supposed to be, etc.

Sounds like the cable, I had pretty much the same thing happen with my hitbox. They have monoprice cables in them which are cheap if you wanna order more but in my experience wear out faster or are faulty at a higher rate than some other brands.

I replaced my hitbox cable and haven’t had problems with that.

Anyone know how to make the PS360+ work on PS4 as a PS3 controller instead of a PS4 controller?

Dual-Mod with a PS4 PCB.

That’s not really what he asked.

Hold square when plugging in

Nice!
What pcb are you guys using?

We’ve been working together with a factory in China to produce our own PCB’s for the first time. Shawn has been over there making sure all working conditions are ethical and quality assurance is 100% and up to our standards. We want to make sure we have a real quality product to give to people, and anyone who’s followed the company for a long time knows how serious we are about quality.

Is it common ground? haha

We’ll have more details in the coming months!

damn, and i just started building a new stick…well, there goes even more money for another hitbox…my girlfriend is going to kill me lol

You could just mod your current one

i could, but then i wouldn’t have another one to add to the collection

I wish HitBox offered an all 30mm option. Selling the new PCB to the public would be cool too.

Urrgh. Just sent my hitbox to be modded to work on ps4. Now do i buy the xbox one edition…

Isn’t the PCB just a PS360+?

Who did you send it to? Chances are they can do XB1 also

PS360+ doesn’t do XB1; they have a new custom PCB.

Thanks to Akishop’s bad wording on their site, the PS360+ does do “XB1,” as in the original Xbox, it doesn’t do Xbox One however.

No one calls the OG Xbox “XB1” except them.
Let me rephrase that, PS360 doesn’t do XBONE.
