The art that it comes with is stuck to the plexiglass panel itself. You could always peel it off and use goo off or something of the like to remove the sticky residue; still in the process of emailing to figure out if i can buy another blank plexi panel separately.
The PS360+ should have working PS4/Xbone compatibility in a few months, from what Akishop has said, and their solution will apparently work with existing boards. Even without that, while the temporary fix is just a stopgap, from all accounts here and on other forums, it works well enough doing the soft reset in-between matches.
So you just have to reset the game on the bone / ps4? Hmm Sounds worth picking up a multiconsole then. Thanks bees!
E:
They still donāt have an official word from them on back compatability so Iām gonna wait. Damn I really want a hitbox. Do you have one currently Bees or are you considering it?
No idea about the Xbone, but with the PS4 you soft reset the stick itself, IIRC. So you just press a couple of buttons in between matches and everythingās good. Not ideal, but it works well enough for Xrd and such.
Not yet, though given that Iāve not really enjoyed sticks, and my favorite method of play is currently keyboard, Iāve been saving nonstop to get one, and trying to learn everything I can about it and the internals and what Iād want to do with it that doesnāt come stock. Hoping Iāll get enough for multiconsole after next week, and Iāll put off any mods until this summer. At the very least Iāll have one before casuals at EVO, I hope.
Hope it goes well for you!
Yeah Iām going to start saving and wait for a hitbox. I almost thought about going to keyboard but I think Iāll stick with the stick till i get to that point.
I contacted a custom builder a couple weeks ago who told me that akishop told him this update would be ready in february. Just word on the street thoughā¦
Yeah, the current compatibility is only stop gap (albeit a surprisingly useable one from all accounts,) but theyāve been pretty consistent in their thread with a āweāll have major announcement regarding PS4/Xbone compatibility for you all come February/March. we think current owners of the board will be pleased.ā Whether or not theyāre gonna be able to pull through is another issue, but Iām optimistic.
That said definitely donāt buy now it now expecting PS4 compatibility, unless youād be happy that the current timeout solution is the only thing youād be getting. Itās a $60 board, from all accounts a really great one, but if youāre buying it for a feature thatās still in development thatās not the best idea. It was more meant of a āHey, the Hitbox might work with the PS4 in a couple of months!ā
