anyway on a somewhat related note, i just purchased #R for xbox and Iām wondering where I can go to find out more info about the storyline and the characters? I already tried gamefaqs, but their faqs just copy and paste from the story mode. because sadly, the story mode makes absolutely no sense, yet I am intrigued and would like to know wtf is going on.

The best you can do with GGXX really is get used to the control sytem. I wouldnāt start taking any characters too seriously, as when slash comes out itās all going to be different anyways. So just mess around and familiarise your self with the game, if your taking it seriously that is.
You can play imports very easily on a slim-line PS2. You can pick up the boot discs and slim tool for roughly $30. It takes 1 minute to do. Put in the disc, load it up, wait till it loads, swap the discs, press X and voiala. Itās much safer and reliable on the slim-line too as you donāt have to mess around with the motor system like you do on the origional PS2. Itās well worth it, Iāll be using them to play Slash when itās out, along with a load of JP/US PS2 and GameCube games getting released this year.
well ive been on the srk for almost 3 years just registered recently. the fighting game thread and hardware thread is full of helpful people. if i was posting in general thread like that new york thread thats a diff story with compliments
You can try romancancel.com. I think they know whats goin on in the story. Beating the game will all the chracters isnāt that easy for me.

some of these story mode fights are hard. like milia has to beat slayer, who only takes damage from specials and supers, and also heals life. iām guessing i have to do that instant-kill move to win fights like these?
yah i know most competitive players dont bother with the single player modes, but the closest arcade with gg only has ISUKA :wasted: and we all know what a WTF is this crap game that is.
im really liking the gg series so far so where can i order guilty gear x slash frmo and is it out? so everyone says slash is better but im not playing competitively just want the latest of the series for my ps2. thx
