it wouldn’t work that way because then they would stretch the playing field to fit on a wide screen tv. you have to zoom in if you want it to fit correctly and then crop off the top and bottom of the screen. that’s how ssf2t:HDR and street fighter 4 do it.
but not how mvc2 does it.

Had to size the sprites down a bit so i could fit them all, but Iv put a link to how I made it (which has the original size of the sprite), and a link to how it looks animated.

i dont recall the game but its strange to see the back of somebody for a change.
That 3rd Strike HUD is pretty nice, but I’d prefer the Stun and Health bars to be thicker in height. They’re already hard to see, sometimes.

I’ve got rough sketches for poses of almost all of the main cast of P3 and P4, but Akihiko’s the furthest along.
Not super huge, but they’re the same size as Blazblue’s sprites with less exaggerated proportions.

Just about the same size as a BlazBlue sprite, in a similar style - always preferred the way they did HD sprites in that game as compared to HDR anyway.
