Yeah I don’t think any of you want me to do sprites so big… It’s taking me a long amount of time. Because I want it to look so realistic, I tend to spend time going over and over an area trying to make it better…

Keep in mind this is only example, it’s only her legs, only using few colors… I want to add 6-8 more differnt colors to her skin alone…

I totally cheated too, I put her together as a paperdoll. its a little bit different than what you dudes have been doing.
I hand-jammed a little program to add some ragdoll physics and stuff to it too.
check it out, its totally badass:

unzip the folder and run the “Troika Tech Demo.exe”, you can use the arrow keys to move her around, space bar to rotate, alt+enter to switch to fullscreen.
Sorry I didn’t do any animations or anything with it, I’ve already spent waaaaaay too much time on this lol

I didn’t go too deep into replicating his flame as it wasn’t going to look good showing the hottest part of the flame/flicker/embers etc. if anyone wants to give it a go, feel free. The image is full-size.

Yeah that’s how I was able to put that demo together so quick, I had a bunch of code already lying around that I could just throw together. The game is coming along, but it can get reaaaally monotonous, and I needed a break :slight_smile:

lol yeah the ragdoll is really buggy in certain cases. I could fix it, but I’d have to tear apart the whole physics engine :frowning:
