thanks dude i have just visit some on the first page like coloring and adding shades on the StHD leaked sprites while other draw and color them.

Career? lol I learned this for fun. I’ve never applied this to income. I have this stupid thought in my head that tells me: “If I do it as work, I’ll hate it for the rest of my life” Honestly, I started learning photo shop and sprite edits at 16-17 years old. Before then I knew nothing about photo editing… Back then 3s sprites didn’t exist yet… The game was 1 year old or so. MVC2, CvS just came out… Then came CvS2… Back then sprites and sprite editing was big… People loved pixel art. I spent gobs of time learning back then.

The ability to do the art and do it correctly comes from being an artist. Though I haven’t “drawn” anything in quite some time…

This post explains everything. This isn’t anything special… Just take the sprite redraw it bigger. So long as you understand the human body you’ll make ones that look good.

Here’s what I got so far. Might go back later and add more detail [signs point to not likely though]. Till then, this is it. Now, I’m prolly gonna go knock out. Woo.

See what I mean Chemical? A little more detail(added color even) can make your piece jump out.

If you try a little harder you can make something really dramatic on a small scale.

Oh and I should note: To those who request HD work:

1.) This isn’t a request thread. I’m sure all of us would agree that we like your enthusiasm and your interest but, we aren’t doing this your sake.(at least I’m not) I do enjoying taking requests though, so don’t feel discouraged. Just be respective of the artists in this thread.

2.) This one goes with #1 somewhat… Please view all of the thread before requesting… Poor Poot can’t keep up and post within the first post of the thread… I know the 27(current) pages can be hard to navigate but, there is work on almost every single page.That’s good enough reason if you are truly interested, no? Too hard to keep up with everything so please search before you ask to see a character.

All in all we want to keep your interest but we aren’t a cheap thrill. If you want a secific sprite done, please post it otherwise we can’t know exactly what you want… If you don’t know which one but simply want to see a character you like, allow whichever artist that takes your request to have creative control.

I’m sorry…I just wanted to c a high res Fei or Ibuki didn’t matter the sprite to me. I like everybodys stuff in here. I hear what your saying though. actually I’m cool with just watching what u guys come up with.

It’s not directed towards you. I’m saying in general. I already said it was cool to request stuff, I’m just trying to make people look through all the sprites.
