They both look fine, Don’t worry about other peoples opinion on one piece of a whole. If the artwork fits in the context of your piece (game). It will look good and in the right place. Its better to have some cohesiveness, then have something all over the place trying to appeal to everyone ;). Where’s her Pillow, I demand HD Pillow!

sorry, no more gimmicks! This game will be all about having tight game play.
I think the other game a lot of people got distracted by the silly “pillow fighting” theme and never realized that the game was actually fun.
i’m digging the new version more than the old one. the new one’s got better posture and her new style fits with the puppet animation style better imho. are you using flash for this game?
EDIT: whoops! the old version looks to be in the middle of a move, so i take the comment about the posture back. i still like the new one more though
Yeah, those are both the first frames from the ‘standing’ animation.
No flash, its all done in c++. I’m a much better programmer than artist

i saw this morrigan sprite posted somewhere when the first STHD sprites were released. yeah her hands are like 80 yrs old while the rest of here looks pretty good. but where’s dat ass at?

it’s still going to be a while. i’m in the middle of making a white len from mb. i already got the sprite for mai though. had to do some cvs2 sprite searching but i found her.
