during casuals, i don’t play serious. i just warm up…make sure hop ultra comes out, jab/elecs are good. i will be doing these over and over until i’m all warmed up and at the same time i take mental notes of the guy i’m playing so if we do play each other in the tournament, i’ll have a littlel bit of background of what i’m up against. once i feel warmed up, i’ll just sit back and take notes of guys i think will be trouble.

mno - you were at the sbo quals? and you didnt say whats up??? did you enter?ggs yesterday. you did alot better with rog than akuma for sure…but i think with just a little bit more practice your akuma can be beastly.

That sounds cool yo, but your friend list is full. I’m not good at the mirror matches due to my hatred for them, but we can get some games in so I can learn something from the best in the usa. I could learn the blanka vs blanka match up more. HolyField aka Balrog is the bane of my sf4 pain. I swear it feels like i’m ice skating up the rocky mountains when I play blanka vs rog. I’m so fustrated right now!:mad::mad::mad:

im not entirely dropping blanka. i’m keeping him for certain matchups. its always good to have a back up character anyway so lately ive been playing alot of ryu. hopefully my ryu is ready come evo.

One thing I’d mention from our old casuals, though online casual isn’t serious anyway, but stop opening with FA. Kept armor breaking with Rog.

Oh, and don’t c.mk xx Hadoken after a rush punch or any Balrog with Ultra and charge stocked. I think I got off like 5 Ultras through your 2-in-1.

Yo Moval, I understand why you changed main characters now. Not to discourage all you blanka fans out there, but get out while you still have a chance to be good at sf4!!! With blanka you have to work 10X as hard as almost any character in sf4 to get the win. I might be changing mains now. The last tournament I played in I faced the following:

Rog, honda, rog, sagat, rog, rog. WTF am I suppose to do against that shit? If you main blanka you MUST HAVE 2nd and 3rd character. Me and blanka are going through some rough times. It’s like I have to play other characters to counter the barrage of rog’s, honda’s, sagat’s that are out there. This really makes me sad. FUCK YOU CAPCOM for taking a big dump on blanka in sf4!

Yea, I made the switch to Gief/Ryu. Blanka’s a third now. It does suck to start over, but I was never all about shenanigans with Blanka anyway. I focused on zoning but that went away when facing good Shotos.

I’ve also started playing more with Sagat and can see why he is such a beast. I don’t have fun winning w/ him though and am starting to find SF4 to be too rewarding to defense. Others say this is strategy, I say it is just boring =\ Thinking of buying BlazBlue as I heard it rewards offense…
