I will be making a trip down to gameworks this weekend for KOF XII
Gameworks hooking it up as usual.
I guess beggars can be choosers ;).
It was originally going to be between $1.50-$2.00/play but due to the success of the Fight Club tournament as well as recent turn out for SF4 then decided to keep it $1.
I’m just happy we got the game at all. SEGA could have EASILY put the cash toward more token/redemption games and could have missed out on 4 great fighting games that quite frankly, GameWorks sorely needed. BlazBlue coming soon, More to come as always ^_^.
Nice updates, Nate. Coolios.
Time cards mothafucka, can you use them?
(Do they still have those?)
No.
(filler)
Can BlazBlue be at 75cents? I know this is a long shot, but you gotta ask right?
My general manager will probably laugh in my face but I’ll ask him. He’s actually “excited to see BlazBlue” according to a recent conversation Vasquez and I had with him…so, who knows. As always if you have something you want to say to the “higher ups” at gameworks e-mail home office at GuestRelations@GameWorks.com. More to come…
while we’re at it 50 cents for SF4 ! Whos with me?
it’s free at home… -_-
ya but then i dont get the public humiliation and shame that is losing in front of a crowd at gameworks : (
The Wheel of Fate is Turing! Rebel 2! ACTION!
BlazBLue is up and running at GameWorks at a $1 a play…Next on our Tech List is Tatsunoko vs Capcom.
What’s the chance of changing 3rd Strike to best of 5 for the same cost?
I would probably play it a bit more, and more people might be willing to come back or try it for the first time.
Hahah BlazBALOO.
Is SFIV still gonna be moved to another cabinet? If so, what are the chances of it getting into a Japanese cabinet?
Good shit Nate, good shit. Please move SFIV to a reliable cabinet! =/
my 2 cents
too all these peeps askin/commenting on the quality of the SuperTurbo4 cab, I gotta say that that is probably the best cab at GW that it can be in. The alternative is crap and the actual cab itself isn’t as bad as everyone is sayin it is.
1.the buttons do have issues from time to time but thats an easy fix.
((personally i think its the mashers fault, and people that don’t realize they are mashing! which is like 85% of the people that play, haha))
2.there is nothing wrong with the sticks.
3.if it were any other cab, it wouldn’t be in HD
4.and honestly it doesn’t freeze up nearly as much as it did in the past.
you also gotta keep in mind that SF4 wasn’t designed for those lindbergh (sp?) cabs and I can tell you without a doubt that GW isn’t going to spend the cash for the official joints. period.
so what am I tryin to say? man up? deal with it? yea pretty much cause nothin is gonna change.
just my 2 cents. be cool.
co-sign…a lot of tourneys are coming up this summer, moneys just floatin waiting for my black hand to steal it lmaooo:nono:
Taken from the Rally Point Gameworks thread…
Something to keep in mind, I’m no Gameworks regular. In fact, the last two times I’ve shown up is because my younger brother dragged me out there. So I’m not so sure what’s wrong with asking if the game’s gonna be sent to another cabinet. Especially since I hate the cabinet in question so much. Maybe you should practice what you preach? Nothing’s wrong with the controls? This cabinet is in Gameworks not fuckin Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Of course something’s wrong.
responce
yea in regards to VF5 being put back in to those cabs, I don’t think its gonna happen based off of conversations with the GM and Tech manager at GW. But it ain’t up to me.
yo, there is nothing wrong with asking. this is a forum, post whatev you like. me, i’m just posting my opinion on the matter cause I am a regular, and I work there. matter of perspective ya know?
practice what I preach? Bed bath and beyond? you lost me there.
Tatsunoko vs capcom is up and running at $1 a play. Get fucking hyped.
