I’m only sad about the absence of Hyper Viper Beam… he didn’t even have to say it… just pull out the giant laser and… sniff
I digress though. He looks and feels like he will play awesome.

Another few things I noticed from the trailers:
hitting hm causes his ground traps to disappear. Seems you can cancel his rocket skates command (air) dash into itself twice for a ROCKET ROCKET ROCKET SKATES! tridash sort of thing. Burrow teleport is quite fast and due to his small size and brown colour, it’s actually kind of hard to follow visually. Oil bomb can be shot in the air to create an explosion, or on the ground to create a fire pit which seems to persist even if you tag out and your partner is hit while coming in.\
combo damage seems a little low, but eh.
Gambit, Venom, blah blah old 90’s characters blah blah wouldn’t have brought anything unique or valuable to the table, wheras instead we get this beautiful character with a very unique and fun moveset. I think we won. Stay free Capcom Unity.

Either way, hearing that little Raccoon scream “I’LL KILL YOU!!!” As he goes down is fucking gold
I can’t hear what he says either, but whatever it is “I’LL KILL YOU, YOU…” is the most badass fucking thing I have ever heard in this game, surpassing Ghost Rider’s “Hell is calling, Albert.” Whoever they got to voice Rocket is amazing.

His australian/cockney accent goes down pretty naturally for me. He sounds a bit like my cousin.
Nominating this guy for best universal intro quote, best death quote (gonna love triggering this) and best character-specific victory quote. This guy is just funny as hell to listen to. HE’S SO ANGRY.
He looks very solid from a character standpoint but he does seem to lose pretty badly to beam/fullscreen hypers unless one of his Lv. 1’s have decent invincibility. I’m not intimidated by his size since I already play with the lowest hitbox in the game.
Definitely doing some kind of RR/Ammy team when this game comes out. I’m gonna throw SOOOO many mix-ups with Cold Star and rocket rocket rocket skates.

I wonder if RR will have a broken air throw range like Ammy does. Considering he can self-OTG and continue combos on his own after that, I can see this guy being a real pain being able to OS j.H gun into an airthrow (if j.H is his air projectile… I don’t think this was ever used in air combos in the vids).
No AHVB, so people can stop sayin he’s the new Cable. Anyway, I’m just glad his gun super is kinda quick and doesn’t have a long animation like Dante’s million dollars
edit: p.s. TBH he kinda reminds me a bit like Chris… just different. Like he has that fire trap. Which is almost identical to Chris’ although you have to activate it. Gonna be interesting, yeah he looks cool so alot will flock to this character but I’m really curious to see how it works out and how many stick with them. Yes right now because of the hype most people are saying they are maining this guy but lets just see how that pans out in the end once people start going to tournaments and figure out who they can actually win with…

I can stop posting at your request, just keep in mind you are embracing a choice that essentially spells out a big EFF UUU to the vast majority of fans from Marvel/Capcom.

A vast majority of fans are scrubs, idiots and casual gamers whom Capcom did a good job not listening to. We’re embracing this character because he’s amazing, fresh and unique. Scurry on back to Unity.
Absolutely blown away by how amazing RR looks. Can’t wait to play him along with PW and Nemesis in a couple of weeks.
