People said that about 3/4 of the cast of Ultimate… complaining about how bad the roster is going to be.

He’s not from space, he’s Earth born and just sorta found his way out there and ended up on the most badass team in the galaxy.

I wasn’t exactly thrilled with cast but at the same time I knew Capcom would put a lot of work into each character to make them awesome.
Funnily he was really born on a crazy world that was half funny animals and half insane asylum.

I thought he was just raised there? I remember the Kree claiming he was Earth-born at the start of Conquest, might be wrong though.

He’s a hybrid like a lot of the really good characters.
A bit more rushdown than Dorm, a bit more keepaway than Mags.
RR/Firebrand is gonna be such an awesome troll team. Flame carpet assist from Brandy for dat lockdown, log assist for AA to make sure they stay out of Brandys turf…and they both seem like characters that straight up shutdown others too. Only problem is health and damage, so I’m thinking Doom to balance it all out.

Rocket’s a strange beast in this game, he could certainly lame out a lot of characters with the right assists, but I agree with you, he’ll DEFINITELY be at full power when you play more of a lockdown based offense game. I feel the same way about Doctor Strange. Two characters that certainly CAN zone, but will benefit much more if you’re in your opponent’s face all the time.
Log trap is the perfect assist to help Iron Fist’s nonexistent air game. Too bad I want to use those two plus Nova and Super-Skrull, so I have to choose…
I’m a little worried log trap is gonna become Haggar-esque. It’s fast, plows through shit, looks hard to stop if not impossible, and leads to a sure combo. Goddamn.
I’m really hoping Maximillian spray paints his dog for the RR cameo in Assist Me next week.

Eh, he and Frank are the newest characters, and this is their reveal day, so of course there is going to be a lot of hype. It’s not a big deal, and I still think you will see a lot of the old cast when the game drops.
At least it uses up your wall bounce, and doesn’t necessarily hit right where you are. Plus it isn’t invincible.
I was thinking the same thing. Both of them together seem to own the sky and ground pretty well. Throw in some lvl 3 xfactor gold armor Arthur shenanigans, and it’s looking like “red alert sodium levels reaching critical” lol.
