Nah, he took his PS3 pad because yet another pad has busted(this is like the second time I’ve heard this already) and we were playing on my xbox 360. It’s true that I have better execution on pad but stick really gives better reaction which leads to easier techs and stuff…and I can do tc sjc ultra 2 on p2 side

If you are interested in just having a battop stick, I have a modified LS-32 from seimitsu and I am getting a new battop to add to it soon. It seems highly likely I am going to end up selling it since I do not have a stick to put it into.
Yes. You add a LS-33 spring to it.
I do it to all my sticks to make them stiff and snap back (giggity goo)

is the LS-33 strong enough to make the stick snap back and forth like a door spring? I’m picturing those bat-tops at Club 300 that keep snapping back forever when you hold it to one side and let go.
When it snaps back and forth like that, it means the spring is too loose. Ie underdamped.
When it goes back to neutral without bouncing back to the other side, its critically damped… Which also means the spring is too stiff lol.
The spring mod will make it somewhere in the middle. I’ll bring my modded tvc stick that has the spring mod in for people to try. Note: not for the limp wristed…ie whiny fadi LOL

No, it will not snap back and forth like a door spring. No japanese jostick does that. I think Happ sticks do that because of the pivot lacks a stable bearing. But I never dismantled one before, so don’t quote me on that.
LS-33 combined with a lose JLF spring is feel tighter, but not snappier like the Seimitsu sticks. Also using a LS-55 spring in a JLF works just as good. But still no “snappy” feeling without the levered microswitches that Seimitsu uses. When I used a JLF, I used it with a LS-55 spring before switching to Seimitsu.

I’m one of the new guys for HW but I have a HRAP that I modded with happ parts(stick and buttons). I might come down for casuals this week for a bit. Depending on what time you get there I can bring it in if you want to try it out. If I come down it’ll probably be around 6 ish.

I wanted to learn some guile tricks and tips from him to lvl up my game. The tourney was fun and I learned alot from just watching all u play, will definitely come back again if I finish early on weds… Nice meeting u all !
