I was gonna buy a V3

And then I got the TE-S LOL

But there’s something about the V3 that still makes me want it =\

Oh, and Scarace or w/e, I sold my DC stick tonight through RFD, sorry.

Hey guys, was watching a documentry on how they run Wednesday Night Fights…thinking we should give it a whirl if we get enough people.

Basics are:
-Everybody is randomly divided to stations
-at each station they play a double elim bracket…but since we won’t have that much ppl, we’ll most likely do a round robin
-top players from each station get designated to a “top player” station for next session
-top player stations have the same double elim/round robin…but the losers from top player station get dropped back down to regular stations during next session

this ensures our better players keep playing each other and hopefully keep getting better…it also gives incentive for other players to get better…as they want to get on that top station. Of course for our first session we won’t have a “top station” yet. Also if we simply don’t have enough players, it’d be harder for use to do…but i think it’d be something cool for us to strive for

let me know if your up for it! i can always try to get a 2nd day during the week to have these type of sessions…perhaps every other week we run one, that way we can keep wednesday casuals going…or i can simply designate a time on wednesdays where we run this style…perhaps 7-9? or something like that…gimme your feed back!

oh yeah…i’m trying to schedule things so that i’m not technically “working” during wednesday casuals…so i can better organize something like this…and possibly get to playing…I WANT ON THAT TOP STATION!! haha

I think this is absolutely an awesome idea, its should be on a separate day and done one day every week. It will give me a purpose again, to keep trying to be the best player I can be. No doubt I’d probably be in the weakest station, but now i’ll have a solid reason to keep trying … Alright this is exciting.

BTW I heard there are SSF4 AE cabinets available for sale in Japan. Who’s up for raising the money, so HW could have their own AE cabinet ?

Great idea. But if you run 6-7 stations a night, wouldnt that mean there’d be 6-7 top players for the next week on one “top” station?
That top station would be pretty crowded compared to only 4 people being on the regular stations.
my only suggestion is to reserve 2 “top” stations in that case.

Hey Jon I got my pieces for my stick today. I can do the stick change easily but don’t want to even look at the buttons. Do you mind helping me out with it? I can pay some of the ‘stick experts’ because other wise my parts will just sit there(lol)
