That it’s $10 cheaper what now? He has a x360 stick. Of course it’s cheaper by $10 vs a ps3 stick.
Wun Yan dual modded my SE Stick and got it fixed too, as I put carpenter’s glue on it. If you want further proof I can show you my stick. That’s what she said.

Can’t remember sadly, I remember Ben uses a 360 pad so I was under the assumption that it’s $80 for 360 base dual mod.
One of his tutorials for dual modding one his site
As I mentioned, I’m about to get my second stick modded from Wun so I’m obviously sticking with who I trust better. As I mentioned, I didn’t really like Arcade Powers/Abs’ prices back in the day when he had a spot at the flea market at Sheppard and Midland and his quote to dual mod my Qanba(he went straight to removing everything first without looking at the stick) whereas Wun atleast checked out the PCB before giving me a quote(and the extras his put into my stick which was fuckwin!)

it was $85. The insurance did come in handy after finding out a month later that the DPDT switch had a problem (the 360 kept telling me the controller was unplugged) and he gave me a new one.
Can’t show you pictures right now since I don’t have my allen key here with me. but the madcatz controller 360 logic board went on the bottom left corner above the black plastic (instead of below it as some modders do) and it’s fastened to a homemade wooden board below it. i’ll be able to take some pictures when I get back to waterloo after the holiday.
do you have a website Wun? I’d also like to have a look at your work.

Sorry can I get a roll call of regulars and recent attendees at HW casuals? I seem to be very forgetful at my old age now(well, not as aging as Hidey but somewhere there). By name(I only know some by SRK handle), I only know
Pat
Jon(dur)
Hidey
Wun Yan
Robin
Aaron
Jesse(SP?)
Ben
Francis
Rahul(sp?)
Omar
Patrick(mains Dudley)
Patrick(my buddy who plays on a PS3 pad, mains Akuma)
Matt
Fadi(Guy)
Fadi(360 Pad?)
Jason(iinara/Ibuki)
Jack
There are others I’ve played against for a short while but like I mentioned, forgotten even after asking their names so if I missed out on some people here I play against a lot, lemme know lol! I think I’m the only Steve/Stephen there that hauls around so much stuff to HW who mains Ibuki at the moment.
You forgot me unless you’ve never seen me.
I concur. We have a great opportunity to level up with the consistent turnouts for casuals. I think the Ranbats and team tourneys are a great way to put what we’ve learned in action.
In conjunction with playing at HW it takes some commitment to practice either offline, training, vs, etc in order to stay on point. Love Wun Yan’s idea of some scheduled weekly online play with HW peeps. I would like to also offer up my “dojo” for after hours sessions beginning in Jan. I’ll let you know which days work but it may be an adhoc situation.
When I first started attending casuals I made it a point to try and level up my Sim, especially since I was advised that he should be my main. Due to time constraints over the holidays I haven’t been able to commit and barely play anymore. I’m hoping this can change in the New Year.
So, let’s all step it up! We’re in a great position to leverage player resources since the HW SF scene has really started blowing up. There’s a lot of tournaments scheduled early in the New Year, would be great if we can put together a Team HW to represent!
Looking forward to playing everyone again soon!
There’s a partial list on the FB page’s notes section.

85 for labour and parts? Just the pcb and switch eh? Do you know which madcatz pcb they used? I’d it the normal controller or fightpad? Do you get eight buttons or six for x360?
Ps, I put fightpad and imp in all my ps3 mods. Lol. Less hassle when switching between consoles lol.
Jon/Hidey, check PM’s please.

Just quick checked the YRSF reference players list, yup now I remember! I only got in about 3 - 4 games in against your E.Honda…Getting around the headbutt is such a hard feat with my play style…
yeah! casuals are on for wednesday! can anybody bring a PS3 with game? if not no worries, i’ll just double up on xboxes. I think i can have 4-5 stations no problem
be sure to bring your sticks if you can…and pads for those of you that need them
see ya’ll soon!
Ill ask if Hidey can get me a ride. If he can, then I’ll bring my PS3 and game.
My stick is coming in in 2 days =) according to UPS at least lol
Also thanks to everyone that has been coming out to casuals and contributing to Heroes World via your entry fees! I really appreciate everybody chipping in to help run things and that ya’ll are cool with us charging for it. As i said funds go towards the shop to allow us to keep running things, and funds also go to new equipment!
I was lucky enough to take advantage of Madcatz buy 1 get 1 free deal when wifey went to states for the holidays…she was able to haul these back for me
oh yeah! two brand new MVC2 TE sticks! also pictured is my new personal TE that i’ll be bringing in. I won’t be hauling these in for this wednesday as i have enough to carry, so i’ll debut them in 2011! Now we’ll have more sticks on hand, but i really hope that players can continue to bring their own sticks as well!
Next on the list will be a few more lag free monitors so we can upgrade and run more set-ups! We got a mad list of games coming out in 2011 so i hope we can keep going strong!! MVC3, MK9, SSFIV:AE, KOF14, ETC!
