Jeff Wan (Thawk) vs Pat (Rose) - jeff continues to be Pats foil as he easily Thawks him over and over again!
Jeff Wan (Thawk) vs Me (Rose) - in my quest to start practicing using normals and less specials, i give rose a try…after several command throws to the face…i manage to get a game or two off the hawk here…key was throwing out cl.mk when he’d go for some of the throws
**Jeff Wan (Thawk) vs Me (Fei) **- we played a quick set of 3 and i took it…using more of fei longs pokes to get in there. Almost all CWs are blocked and then punished with a throw…only CWs that land are when he is airborne…taking note of that
Justin (Sagat) vs Pat (Rose) - hahaha, so funny that pat seems to get owned here by wake up ultra…justin continues to be a random dice roll…you never know what he’ll do
Justin (Sagat) vs Me (Sagat) - i’ve always wanted to learn sagat…so this was just a fun match…i take most of games…i lost one because i try to land the f.hk into ultra2 for the entire round 
Marcus (Ryu) vs Pat (Rose) - pat manages to lose to ryu…he keeps getting greedy and tries to land a combo with every hit…sometimes you gotta just slam them with something easy instead of aiming for the sky everytime
Marcus (Ryu) vs Me (Rose) - only one game here, but i lost. I was having trouble activating the orbs.
**Marcus (Ryu) vs Jeff (THawk) **- haha…it’s funny when ppl come across THawk…Marcus was probably like “WTF? T Hawk is in this game?” goes to Jeff
Marcus (Ryu) vs Anthony (Ken) - Anthony’s new character Ken gets some action. Anthony takes the set no problem…he’s kara throws and combos are hitting no problem

Anthony (Ken) vs Jeff Wan (THawk) **- Anthony is running Ken instead of his usual Abel…Jeff is running THawk. Pat throws down a dollar on Anthony…seemly a safe bet as i’d say Anthony has more exp under his belt in SSFIV. But i know Jeff pretty well, i know he’s got the old school basics down…and i also know the adjustments he can make…and the fact that Anthony has not played his THawk with ken yet. I take the bet pretty confident that Jeff will take the set.
Round 1: Anthony lands some convincing combos, the typical jab kick tatsu or something like that…a kara throw here and there…but jeff starts to get in and the 360s begin. Surprise turn is that Jeff picks the anti air ultra for Thawk and catches anthony on a jump in. Jeff takes round 1
Round 2: Anthony has jeffs number here…landing combo after combo…jeff whiffs several throws…seems that anthony always lands just out of reach…or can bust out a DP just in time. Jeff also misses a ultra attempt. Anthony takes round 2
Round 3: All the marbles here folks! Everybody is gathered around here…event he Magic players are watching this one. Pretty tense round…it’s going pretty even. Jeff manages to squeek out the win here…finishing the round with a command grab.

Wednesdays and Fridays are more or less guaranteed… Saturdays are normally the special event days at the store. As of right now, we can’t consistently run Saturday casuals because of Magic/Warhammer/D&D events that go on, BUT I know Jon mentioned that there’s been some interest in Saturdays. We might adjust some days in the future, depending on what happens.
Meanwhile, does anyone play BlazBlue? I want to learn that game, but I’ve talked to Matt and Fadi and they both say it’s a game where a difference in skill level is most prominent (moreso than MvC2? I dunno). We’ll see. Hidey, do you still have copies of BB:CS?

If wednesday get replaced to Saturdays, I would be moreless free to stay later since I have family dinners on wednesday. Are the hours different on the weekends?
Tried to pick up Blazblue, crashed and burned so I gave it up. Taokaka was neat but Noel was so noob friendly.

Just got home from classes, got Mushihimesama in my mail box, load the game and finish it on normal with tons of continues used then I noticed Jon online then offline lol.
Going to work in a hour, I’ll probably be back at 12am tonight.
dual modded equipment/converters do not allow me to use MIC unfortunately.
haha…yeah, i’ve got my xbox on in the background while i do some other work…no mic for me since my sticks are modded. I’m thinking we should try to start a session around 10? or if ppl prefer later we can do it later as well? i’ll check the thread later and see what the majority posted time is and try to pop on then…otherwise i’ll pop online around 10 and see who is around
