Thanks Chowwun, But I don’t think I have to desolder it. My HRAP3 has only one PCB, with everything connected to it. The stick and the button wires are soldered but the usb cable to plug it into the PS3 is clipped on with those white clips, that’s how its connected to the PCB board. I was thinking if I can get another cord I would just replace it. And it wold be of benefit in case the cord had another break anywhere else, the new cord would fix that. Do you know how I can get a new cord, or buy one ?

White clips as in something like this? http://lizardlick.com/images/for_sale/joysticks/jlf_h.jpg. Basically you can detach it and reattach it fairly simply, right? I haven’t seen a USB cord sold with connectors like that. If anything, that would be custom made (i.e. buy the clip, trim down the USB cable, connect cable to clip).
If you could take a picture of your clip (showing from various angles; more importantly showing what kind of clip and how many pins (5 I’m guessing)), I could direct you to stores around here or downtown to get supplies. =)

i think you can only link photos…so you gotta upload them somewhere like photobucket or something…or alternatively you can simply e-mail them to chowwun if he’s kind enough to take a look for you
also thanks to everybody that come out…smaller group this time but we’ll keep trying to get more folks out. I managed to get in a few games before most ppl showed, i forgot to catch your name, but you were the Sagat player that switched up to guile to kick my ass!! haha
lots of ppl asking if any sticks were octagonal gate…dunno if this is cause ppl are more used to them or they just wanna try it out. i do have a oct-gate lying around that i can pop into one of the sticks if people wanted to try it out, just let me know and next time i’ll do it
Ya man that was me I had a great time playing. Everyone there gave me great matches and I learnt alot about certain characters that I don’t play to often. If this is going to continue then I’ll stop by every saturday if I’m not working. Also if there’s any sunday casuals going on then count me in.

Are you hosting/holding SSF4 casuals today (Sunday) ?, I couldn’t make it yesterday, something came up 
if you provide octo-gates, please let people know which one it is. I would say the majority of the tournament players hate the octo gate and swears by the square, since it’s alot harder to find the corners in the octo than the square.
yeah, i just wasn’t sure cause during the last few casuals ppl were asking if any of the sticks were Octo-gates…i had assumed ppl wanted to try octo-gate…but perhaps they were trying to avoid them 
i was going to drop by this place to check it out because my manager Phil and my co-worker Ivan (pretty sure you know them. They both just told me your name is John) go there to play Warhammer all the time. I was gonna go and give some people some tips and also maybe give them information about tournaments coming up. I was only gonna drop by for an hour or two how much would that be?

Damn, should have checked out this part of the forum sooner. It would nice to play some offline matches without constantly worrying about delay and I’m fairly close to the your store. Hopefully, I won’t be the only pad user.
