Unfortunately we must raise prices in order to continue running Wednesday night casuals. This is due to many factors including rent, space, electricity, staffing and equipment. The new pricing structure will be as follows with monthly (4 week) packages to be announced as well.
$10 regular entry fee
[SIZE=5]$8 discounted entry fee
(if you bring your own controller or fight stick)[/SIZE]
This new pricing structure will be effective August 24th (2 Weeks time). As a bonus for the first couple weeks under the new pricing structure we’ll be running until 10pm.
Not only does the new pricing help keep Heroes World’s doors open and lights on, but it will help improve casuals as well. If we are able to continue running we can then add more equipment and run more events (such as mini tourneys with Heroes World supplied prizes).
We apologize for any inconvenience they may cause you but it must be done in order for us to continue. We hope that you understand the reasons and can continue to support us.

I do sincerely hope that everyone can appreciate why this is taking place. Heroes World has been kind enough to open their doors for us and allow the casual gaming sessions to run every week with upwards of 30 people in attendance recently.
The bottom line is both Jon and Andre have a business to run, rent to pay, etc. There are significant costs in doing so.
Just wanted to add my two cents and advise that YRSF supports this!
(at $8.00 for 5 hours of gaming it works out to $1.60 per hour - pretty cheap entertainment in my opinion).

There is always at least one PS3 setup and they usually run Street Fighter on that one.

yeah, we used to ALWAYS have at least one ps3…but since it yellow lighted we’re depending on ppl to bring one in…so you may have called before it was set up. Omega has been kind enough to bring in extra systems so we’ll usually have at least one ps3.
