I have confidence in my Sagat against Nathan’s Abel.
It is too big the the funny sense. But the larger ball top does provide a better grip because you can hold the ball with more of your plam (giggity). I left the larger ball top at HW but did not give Jon a price. I think I set the regular ball top price to $3 and was therefore going to set the large top to $6. Since your a HW regular disconnect and make it $5.
There is no short shaft that I know will work with the JLF. There is the Seimitsu LS-33 shaft I have that is shorter, but there are more parts I need possible make it work. Am I am still not sure if it will. If you really want, I can order the other parts when I order more stuff from Japan, but I cannot guarantee it.I can however, make your stick require less swing to hit the microswitch if that is what your looking for. That said, you should try the EX-SE in the store. It has a seimitsu LS-32; a stick with a shorter shaft.

After playing with Wun Yan’s stick last night for quite some time I think that I like it a lot. Albeit his is smaller than what I’m accustomed to, mine is just not stiff enough!
