Heroes and Heralds mode discussion thread

I forgot what my setup is but it gives me plenty of meter. I once got 4 bars out of nowhere and I once got 3 bars WHILE I was doing Dorm’s lvl 3.

I have enough meter to be in Devil Trigger pretty much the whole match, but canceling specials into specials burns it all really quickly when you start doing really stupid shit. I wonder how many characters can do an infinite in H&H. Only one I’ve found so far is with Frank West, but it’s not really infinite cause you’ll run out of meter eventually. I haven’t even done training mode yet, just been grinding for more cards.
SO MANY FUCKING DUPLICATES

I’ve updated the original post. Any suggestions from what you guys would like to see posted? I haven’t been dabbling in the mode too much yet, so let me know.

This is most likely the best build.

Quick question, can you play this mode offline multiplayer like versus?

Will the game save my progress in arcade mode or will I have to start from 0% on all stages all over again if I quit half way through?

Currently I’m rocking professor x - professor x - professor x lol

Also, Mephisto - missile - blodia.

Yes and no. You have to go into training mode, select 2p’s characters for him, go into pause menu, change all your settings and activate the cards, then you can VS your friend. It’s incredibly stupid and far more hassle than it should be and I hate Capcom for ignoring such an obvious detail.

Don’t worry I’m sure it’ll be on the Vita, the superior version of Ultimate if that trailer is to be believed.

Invisible air and normal dashes + Magneto = EVERYONE IS PRINGLES

add blodia for faster dashes that have super armor.

OH…MY…GOD. If I face this, I might actually ragequit

I found a very fun combination, thats very effective.

Have Sabre on main, regening hp which is just stupid as i sometimes end games with full HP after being comboed many times AND it increases speed so overheads are much harder to block.

Have Night for invisible ground dashes, which for characters like Iron Fist, Spencer and Ryu combined with extra speed makes their approach very scary.

And then just have the one that makes DHCs steal HP and meter, which has a very drastic effect, much more than you’d think.

I’ve been completely destroying with The Watcher, Doc Ock, and Lilith - like really bad

The Watcher has to be the best card out, and it was one of my first! Thanks, Prof. X!

you mean in Heroes or Heralds mode Offline mode? i believe it will; last night i did a bunch of offline Heralds then switched to Heroes and everything looked ok. i can double check when i get home (~5hrs) to make sure if you’d like.

Doom and Magneto both look so swag with Nightcrawler primary. Blodia is still better though. Invincible dashes

godot=good counterpick

My new equation.
Mr.Gorath + Ultron armored smash (no drawbacks AT ALL and super armor) = tears of joy.

Well, I’ve got 100% on all but three stages, don’t want to switch it off and they all go back to 0%. :frowning:

I’ve been using fuo-lou/mephisto*/silver surfer w/ Wolvie(mostly) or Viper/Spencer/Dorm. I actually went 26W to 14L IIRC, but the sad part is I that it is the first time I’ve ever used wolvie but I’ve seen his combos enough that I know what to do lol, and I can’t do shit with Spencer and Dorm besides magic series and SuperxxXFCxxSuper. My whole game plan revolved around wolvie and viper fucking as much shit up as possible and playing a dumb spencer and dorm with a ton of meter to punish anything unsafe or predictable assist calls.

The hardest thing that I’ve had to deal with was a really good all vergil team w/ the punisher and a meter boosting card I think. Once he killed one character, he had a really nasty mixup of harvest round and teleporting that I wasn’t too sure how to block leading to death. I faced a couple of infinite XF teams, but its only hard to deal with if its Also, Vergil with alot of super armor is scary as fuck

(*=main)

Just thought of the craziest deck. The Watcher*/Grandmaster/Devilot for my Strange/Taskmaster/Dormmamu team sounds pretty nuts. 3 meters plus health every 20 sec (lvl 3), with 3 meters-vitality refills automatically (lvl 3), and to top it off, every successful dhc will absorb health and meter from opponent (lvl 3).
