Yeah I got really confused the first time I ran into that health card too. I got mad and Genmu Zeroed him right at the end and it worked. I guess you just need 1 big hit to finish them off.

The only way this game mode is going to be fun is if you can invite friends to play each other and not use retardly broken cards. Some combinations make you jesus.
Does anyone else find the CPU to be ridiculously easy? Like it’s on the Super Easy setting and their controller is unplugged or something. The only time they even try to block is when the Danger rating for the fight is set to 4-5 stars and even then it’s a cake walk.
BTW, if you win a higher level card because of Professor X/Missile, the game will tell you that you’re getting a better card because of them.
You mean there’s something broken about Trish having three bars at the start + unlimited XF + and activating XF makes her opponent activate it?
I dont think the cards are broken, its more or less the combinations you can make.
Yeah a private match setting would lead to groups having their preferred playstyle. Common sense really, but Capcom tends to gloss over the obvious. Training mode tinkering is the closest to a mode like that (offline, though).
I fought a Sent player who had Team of One, except he wasn’t too great with Sent. Hilarity ensued (all 30secs of it). Fought somebody else who gave hyper armor to Hulk. Redundant, unless I’m missing something.
There should be a Just Defense card.
They’re doing it wrong. Just faced somebody with a Hulk that was invincible to projectiles. Did nothing but come at me and OS ground throw

That actually sounds hilarious (not on the receiving end, of course). This mode is awesome. Pretty much makes UMvC3 for me.
I don’t really like this mode. What the fuck is up with that card that freeze frames the game and the person flashes red? I can’t even combo with that card on.

Ok random question. What does “Increases the speed of instant attacks” actually do?
I think it has to do with Assists like Haggar’s Lariat or Frank’s Meter gain as they’re instant assists.
Fin Fang Foom takes away your hypers, so in all actuality, its not worth using him unless you have Multiple Man as your Primary.

Theres another card (I forget what it was) that allows you to have 3 X-Factors when put as Primary. I think 3 is good enough already so you should be using that card over the one that sacrifices Hyper Combos for Infinite X-Factor
5 star AI is so annoying to play. All I do for 100 marvel seconds is spam Magnetic Blast.
Is it me or are boob bounces much more noticeable when they’re in Herald alts?
I think fing fang foom is pretty good but with the right cards and the right characters. I think Mephisto(main)/fing/grandmaster is pretty good lke you start of with xfactor right off the bat and as long as your grounded your regain health. Using that with wesker/wolvy/akuma(tatsu assist) makes for pretty much a godlike team. you can also use mandarin/fing/G.master makes your oppenent you use up his xfactor right off the bat.
