Try C groove Cammy, Blanka, R2 Sagat. This is a solid team, yet it requires a lot of skill to play at higher levels (even Cammy). You can play this team all the way from when you’re learning, to when you’re playing against the best in the world.
It doesn’t matter who I am if I’m right. If I were Buk you’d be all over my nuts anyway. Ken takes knowledge about the game and top execution to make good. Without skill he’s mid-tier at best.
just dont rely on air block all the time itl only get u in sum places in a certain time limit as well.
I say learn ken now instead of later. if u learn him ul get enough knowledge and probably make it easier to use other characters.
plus he has air throw and that means no air guard for whoever.
Read it again the right way and you will understand, NOT named CBS. I clearly said that NOT named.
Ok, I’m sorry about that. But even still I think c-ken takes more skill than pretty much any character in the game. Against good players though.
Its alright Heat said the same thing to me when he first saw the post.
I dont really think he takes any more skill then playing Sak or Bison or Hibiki or Kyo or most other characters people like to play.
C-ken is tough to play. It’s very hard and risky to get inside. Run ken imo is easier to use. C-ken is not top tier. I’ve been shoto most my life, and I he is freakin difficult to use in C. This game is all about footsies ken has the footwork but he doesn’t have the range to fight against the common teams. Just cause daigo uses him, don’t mean jack. If you want to play c-ken, do it. Play your own style.
Yo Inverse, IM me on AIM, my name is JeffHizzle

Wow…
Ken may not be easy to use, but I still seriously believe everybody should play whoever they want.
I played “The A-Team” last year at ECC and placed around top 10. I played C-shotos this year and couldn’t make it out of my pool. Shows how much SF skill I have when it really matters. That’s in no way discouraged me from keep playing the characters I’m playing though. I may suck really bad at this point, but I have confidence that as long as I keep at it, my shotos can be as deadly as any random top tier team player.
I believe that too, once you get to actually know your shit about the game.
C-Ken might be worth it. Playing him will increase your CVS2 IQ because you’ll fight lots of top-tier whores, and ken imo doesn’t do too well against some of them on paper.
you should defenetly go with an a-groove team cutom combos rule if you do want to go with a-groove try out sakura, hibiki and terry they rule in that groover but theres more:)
c-kyo is harder to use than c-ken IMO
And why not play c-ken if he wants to? He doesn’t have to start out being the best. He can learn and get better and have a good c-groove ken.
Maybe I’m retarded. Don’t even try to play a character unless you know everything about him.
Oh wait, nevermind. You can learn from experience and get better.
You don’t have to be a daigo clone to play C-Ken good. Too much of what the internet tells you has got your mind twisted.
like inverse said
If you want to play c-ken, do it. Play your own style.
Thanks
Here thanks dude i have always like ken and always will and i gd at the game best out of everyone who i have played but i still can get better thanks again
