Hey Shoryuken community,

First time poster here. I have a question about a fight stick I purchased on eBay.

So I purchased the “STREET FIGHTER IV ARCADE FIGHTSTICK TOURNAMENT EDITION” and everything was running smoothly initially.

However, recently I’ve been having issues with the joystick. Sometimes it adds extra inputs, for example, I’ll press down once and it’ll register down twice. And other times it is completely unresponsive. Should I contact the seller for a refund? Is there something severely wrong with the stick? I cannot use it because most motions do not work. Am I able to fix this on my own?

Thanks for the help guys.

Before we continue we need more info.
What system you have your TE for?
What games you tried on your TE?

Also pics of the stick so we can see its condtion

I use the stick for SSIVAE on PC/Xbox 360.

It randomly started happening on PC so I switched to Xbox and it worked fine for a day then stopped working on the Xbox too.

Do you want pics of the inside? Its a standard SSIVAE Tournament Edition Fightstick

Normally I suggest you how to fix it, but since you got this stick used from eBay
And eBay do guarantee items sold on their site, I say take advantage of a return if that is still an option.

I’m going to attempt to fix it first Dark.

Here are some pictures of the inside. I can see one wire looks split or frayed (the red one)

Doesn’t work that way. See the rules on the FAQ thread.
