Help me on which stick to buy?

So the Q3 is wireless then? You don’t notice a delay at all with your console?

Is the artwork easy to switch out on the Qanba sticks, and are there templates for them? Same question for TE in regards to artwork and templates.

Absolutely none but I can tell you Qanba probably just cloned the PCB from the PS3 pad(they both work the almost the same).

Not sure about the EMP version but both the 360 and Q3’s plexi-glass needs to take a paint remover bath because they have the graphic painted of the back of it. After that, there’s the Official Qanba thread that should list the template and then there’s a EMP Template thread as well.

TE is definitely the norm for arcade sticks so the official TE template thread will usually always be on the first page of this section.

I like the hrap-sa more just because it’s not trying to be a viewlix and is more astro.
But that’s just personal preference of what I’m used to, Has nothing to do with quality both are amazing sticks TE is probably better other then the round1’s a select few older batches had some PCB issues but that’s LONG been taken care of.

Everywhere I look the TE is sold out, does anybody know where I can buy one? Otherwise if it’s looking like months I’ll buy the HRAP or the Qanba. Preferably cheap shipping to Canada.

I’ve looked at Amazon.ca, Newegg, Tigerdirect and Gamestop.

Fuck it, it’s not that expensive from the states, this is what I want right?

[PS3 Street Fighter IV Round 2 Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition](http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Street-Fighter-FightStick-Tournament/dp/B002V0WKXM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1298151338&sr=8-3)

I bought my SE stick from US Amazon, they have TE sticks there but they are quite pricy (170+ with atleast 40 dollar shipping).

Too bad we can’t buy it from the gameshark store because there is a coupon code that reduces the TE round 2 stick prices.

I feel like us Canadians are getting left out when it comes to the fighting game scene.

So it IS what I want?

Have you ever noticed that the Real Arcade Pro 2, 3 EX, SE and SA are just squashed versions of the control panels from Astro/Net/Blast City cabs?
Taito Vewlix is supposed to be the new standard which is why the TE stick looks like a squashed version of their CP(layout and white side bezels) and Hori HRAP VX/V3 sticks resemble it in width and wrist rest?

Canada sucks for Fightsticks and Fightpads. The only thing I bought locally was my HRAP V3 when it just made it’s domestic debut…My SE was bought second hand and both my Q3 and HRAPP EX VLX came from out of the country.

You won’t be disappointed with either TE sticks(rd1, 2 S) if that’s what you want to hear. If you like having plenty of wrist rest room, the TE, older HRAP and Qanba sticks are fine. The newer HRAP V series sticks lack wrist room(table sticks like the VLX).

Thank you very much for your help guys!

I know this might be late but, to answer your questions

  1. Fuck No

  2. If you’ve got the money to play with, play with it

  3. Absolutely

  4. TE? Why, when the Hori is Cheaper… and better.

Number 3. And thanks for your experience input. I’m in the same boat. The Shoryuken movement kills me. I don’t have an octa gate to play with but now I’d like to mess with that.
