Cables-for-PC is an okay adapter… and fairly cheap when I bought mine. Next-to-impossible to find now since I don’t think they’re made anymore.
At any rate, the adapter got superceded by the MC Cthulu in my case. Just easier to plug in the RJ-45 extension I needed for the system! I was very surprised that the Cthulu ended up being possibly the most compatible replacement PCB out on the market. I haven’t found a game or emulator yet that it really doesn’t work with – and I own an AMD PC with an Nvidia board which is supposedly one of the more troublesome motherboards for a few of the joysticks listed above.
Undamned, holler if you need a reading on the Hori HRAP VLX and I’ll get it for you…
Since you sound interested in the PS2 stuff with the adapters, I’ve got another stick to test with the Cables-for-PC adapter.
I hope this helps somewhere down the line.
This is a prize joystick in many people’s collections.
P.S. – The “Twin USB Joystick” business refers to the fact that the USB plug divides into TWO PS2 connectors. You can connect two PS2 controllers through this adapter. Real economical, no?
@undamned As far as I can tell, the MadCatz Brawl Stick is the same thing as the SFIV SE Fightstick, but knowing my luck they updated the PCB to actually work with PCs (in which case, I wonder if I could buy one and swap the PCB into my SE Fightstick and have that work on my computer and still PS3…). Still, just in case, here’s the SE Fightstick data.
