I have last year when I went to Japan with my friends.
My advice:
- Don’t go to a place that cost less than maybe $100. We went to a place that was $60. HUGE MISTAKE
- Make sure you pick a place that ALLOWS YOU TO PICK THE GIRL. Again, the place we went to gave us random girls/women/things you call female. HUGE MISTAKE
- Do your research to look for places that accept foreigners (assuming you’re not Japanese). While the number of soaplands that refuse foreigners are dropping, a lot of them still refuse service to non-Japanese
- Learn basic Japanese to be able to communicate with the woman you will be paired with in the soapland. Makes the experience a lot more enjoyable and a lot less awkward.
