Sorry my Alaskan homies, but Austin has the healthiest 3rd strike arcade scene in America right now 
people go to the arcade multiple nights a week, there are new players who range from just a few months to a year, etc etc 30 people showed to attend the random 3on3 not too long ago and that’s apparently not even all of the players in the area.
Healthy enough where we can play random 5v5 for fun, have money matches, and first to x sets for fun all spontaneously.
for whatever reason though those guys don’t post on SRK, but I’m sure they will start to capture more footage with video cameras, or live streams in the future since the scene for 3rd is resurrecting/blossoming at arcade UFO. it’s popular enough where Fubarduck, the owner is most likely putting in a second set of h2h cabs for it!

If I am going to progress from just being an online warrior, will that mean I will have to learn how to play with a arcade stick. Because I haven’t used one before. Do arcades allow people to play with an xbox controller sometimes?
If you’re playing at a Gaming center with OE you will be limited to either Xbox controller or ps3 controller. If it’s arcade you have to use stick. Stick is superior for this game imo
Main tournaments are in London on Arcade, you’ll probably find casuals in the midlands/north as well as Scotland, majority of tournaments are held in South West England and Wales and played on OE
