Hello, from Arcade-In-A-Box (10% Off Coupon SRK10)

Depends totally on whether you are used to American or Japanese controls.

Wait, scratch that. If you are used to American controls you definitely need to get aiab. If you are used to japanese controls then both are a good option, the choice will have to come down to other things.

you can come up with your own artwork

the AIAB sticks are of the highest quality from what everyone says. the are made of wood and you can get it customized with the layout, buttons, sticks, artwork, molding, microphone, ps3/360 dual functionality and size that you wish. they use a polycarbonate laminate for the artwork which is very very very sturdy.

they charge the card right away, and you can make upgrades to your order after your initial order but before the stick ships (like buying the dual system functionality, new buttons, different stick, different colors, etc…). I think Ed can even change most everything after your order if you ship it back to him, but don’t know for sure what the limit would be.

the wait is about 6-8 weeks right now but that may get lower.

I just counted 200 orders on that order queue that are as of 2/6 or earlier, wow!

At this rate it will be tough to get back down to the goal of 2-4 week wait, but people will wait for something good quality.

I read the updated order que and was wondering what the hybrid/ps3 board situation was? Does that mean people who ordered dual system arcade sticks, will have to wait an extra week?

I’m talking with Ed right now about how to get you guys covered ASAFP, so don’t sweat it too much.

i was wondering How much it would cost to add a xb360 PCB to my stick which is a ps2 stick. I’m not sure if this is possible, but it would be greatly appreciated if it could be done

thanks! will i be able to use any of the artwork over at AIAB?

Yea, you can use that artwork. I’m not sure if he charges you a fee for it, it might be $15 or something. I believe he has to pay royalties to the people who made the art.

Sorry if this has already been answered, couldn’t find it.

How much do the True Arcade and Slim Arcade weigh?

I haven’t read the thread, I just wanted to jump in and say I probably won’t be posting for at least another week. Trying to get through as much as I can now and just after SFIV release. Looks like we will have about 30 sticks going out this week. Note, many orders on the queue have more than one stick, they are just not shown that way. I might change that if I get the time.

I am going to try and update the queue every Sunday night/Monday morning. Then a little more frequently when the chaos is over.

Not that this message will be read.

At least you should put up an FAQ (if you are as busy as you state) so that you will not be bothered by the same questions by phone/email.

Well I ordered it Jan 8th. I’m going to circle march 8th as expected receive date.

Think he may be a little too busy to do that.

Oh man Ive ordered my stick back in december and it isnt even ready (according to the queue list) why?

:sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:

^^^ what date in december?

Not all the comments on the order page say exactly what was going on with that particular order. If you’re under the 10th - 12th person, your stick likely shipped today. I ordered Dec 11th and it shipped today.

I have to say, your stick is one of the best I have done. I wish you would have gone with chrome t-molding but even eith the black it looks tight.

I will be working most of the weekend. Just wanted to say I have the updated orders queue, I will try to get it uploaded tonight.

Sorry if it’s already been answered, but do these sticks come with QDs or does that have to be requested?

What’s a QD?

@Ed, thanks!

QD = Quick Disconnect

It allows you to swap out buttons easily without soldering.
