Nice artwork, that is pretty. I’m curious about the kanji as well.

Those are some nice looking sticks

Nice looking stick wudanmountain! I like the solid black background and the red/green/blue button scheme. Reminds me of the arcades.

Seems like the order queue has been updated, and 46 sticks were knocked off that list from the last update.

Yeah, we are making good time. I hope to be through 2199 by end of next week. Not sure how possible that is, but it’s a goal. If we do that, it will pretty much finish up April orders, putting us back to about 2 months behind. Slowly we begin to catch up from there :).

it’s the first line of an old famous proverb. basic meaning: there’s always going to be someone better, so you continually have to improve your own skills

I know Ed is busy and can’t read this section all the time so I was wondering if somebody else could answer this question if he can’t.

My AIAB has been randomly disconnecting. At first I thought it was something with the pause button on the PS3 but it also unplugs on the 360 so I think it might have to do with the USB cord or something along the line of that. I hoped to send it back but I’ll have to wait until late August because I have 3 major tournaments lined up (Evo being one of them) and I likely won’t get it back in time.

I was going to ask a techy friend of mine to possibly open it up and see if it is a problem that can be easily solved but I don’t know if this will void my warranty or not.

Call up Ed and explain your problem. They may (and actually encourage) be able to resolve your problem over the phone.

Has anyone heard anything out of Ed and crew as to how the queue is coming along? I assume from the silence that they are busy cranking out the sticks.

Hey Guys! Finally After long wait My AIAB stick has Arrived!
it is a Custom Slim Arcade with A Sanwa JLF Octo-Gate and Clear Seimitsu buttons
Ed did an amazing job and I am Completely happy with his Work Thank you Ed!

and on a side note I also received my TE Stick as well XD

Sorry for the no posts guys. Been working hard on a few things. I completely forgot to get a queue up on Monday, I will try to get one up tomorrow.

As for the disconnecting sticks, it’s it’s a bad wire going to the PS3 board, or a bad wire on the center posts of the switch.

Email me the issue and order number and I can get a Fedex label sent to you to have it shipped back for repair. You should have it back within a week or two.

Ed

Will AIAB sticks work with BlazBlue and King of Fighters 12 games? Or do these two games require more than 6 buttons for play. Since no demo seems to be forthcoming, I have no way of finding out.

I have the PS3 version with Cthulhu board.

KOF and BB both only use 4 buttons

Scatter…Senbonzakura

I tried mines out with Blazblue and it work perfectly

LOL Thank You he is my Favorite in the Bleach

Thanks Shadow and Fulaani

Thanks to Ed and his team for a fabulous product. The build quality is fantastic. The stick is a Slim Arcade 360/PS3 with JLF-square, clear-blue Seimitsu buttons in the Curved-Wide layout, with custom artwork rendered by myself. All the parts feel solid, without feeling plasticky or cheap. The base has a nice heft to it, but not too heavy where it squishes me when i’m playing on my lap.

The only down sides are with the printed artwork, where the black levels seem a bit off and that there is a colour shift. I knew that there would be a difference but I didn’t expect that it would be far off (though i suspect my monitor needs to be calibrated) - otherwise i would have ordered clear non-coloured buttons. So here’s a tip: expect a shift in colour in the printed artwork and unless you know exactly what the buttons look like, don’t try to match it based on pictures off the webby haha. It’s a minor point caused by my own misjudgement, but the end result is superb.

Great product, top notch customer service, absolutely worth the price and the wait.

I’ve included my original artwork to show the colour shift between the printed and onscreen display. It was an 18 hour render with 4 machines, but absolutely worth the time as the printed result is sharp. Here’s another tip: don’t try to upload a 40MB image directly to the custom form . One thing to note is that it isn’t an easy image to match up underneath the buttons but they got it bang on. Definitely shows the dedication that went into building the product.

thanks again Ed!!!

That stick looks sick, lavinia. I’m guessing my artwork is being ordered because I was contacted about the file not properly uploading through the custom options form. Good thing I kept the files.

Anyone know about how long it has taken once the artwork was ordered until you got your stick? I know the time will probably not be the same, but just looking to come up with a rough estimate of how much longer it will be.

Wow, that is definitely some unique artwork. Congrats on the cool new stick, lavinia.

Thanks AcidRayne and Conral - not much time to enjoy it as a stick, but it does give off a certain presence in the room like a sculpture or a nice painting on the wall.

As for the order time, I submitted the artwork on June 4th and the date shipped was June 30th. I didn’t receive the package until July 13th, but i’m quite the distance away. They must have been gearing up for Devastation during that period, so it probably shifted their schedule a bit. Hope that helps.

WOW lavinia that stick just grabs my attention!!! Congrats on that!!!
