I am a noob player of SFAE 4 even though I have played these games for 20 years. I have never put any real effort into developing my game to be truly competitive.
I have done the TWL and CEVO tournaments for almost 5 years now and I am burnt out on FPS games.
I have also played Quake for over a decade now.
Its time for a new crack in my life and SF is the best option out there.
I am continuously practicing on the challenges in game on SF:AE 4 and SFXT. I also try to go over the basic and intermediate guides for Ken and Ryu.
But in most parts I am just trying to find the character I mesh with the best and provides me with an advantage VS play.

The newbie dojo is meant to be a place where you ask specific questions. Just asking “do you have any tips” is far to general for us to give you anything useful. A good place to start is the character specific sections for the games you play. We also don’t usually do introductions here; the site is simply too big.
