I don’t know why, but I often see bloodfen raptors being used. They’re cheap, but they have 2 health so they die easily. I prefer crocolisks.

Raptors trade up better and offer more early pressure/late game influence. From Trump’s arena list:

Generally, a statline skewed towards Health is preferable. In the case of two drops, however, this is reversed. A 3/2 is better than a 2/3 because it can pressure faster in the early game and is more impactful in the late game. The ability to trade with 3/3s is also more important the ability to survive against 2/1s, especially since so many hero powers can directly protect you against 2/1s. The catch-22 of all small minions is that, while you need them early, you never really want to draw them past turn five. In those scenarios where you get stuck with a late game two drop, you’d rather it have a better chance to trade up since most minions will be able to deal three damage.

I agree. Hiding Cho behind the taunted giants when you have the board advantage is a nightmare for the opponent

He’s not really amazing, but I’ve put Illidan in my Savage Roar druid deck because he’s my favorite card. Having a good run right now, 6 wins in a row.

I wish he was a 5/7.

I just added Nerubian Egg to my Warlock deck, having a 4/4 in turn 1 was devastating vs priest, by turn 3 I had my second 4/4, priest simply took the damage to the face lol

Thats funny. I’ve had the same thing happen for me. Priests keep killing off the egg for some reason…

That 2/8 taunter is going to be serious business when he’s released. I expect alchemist to make a splash in the meta, to counter it, along with killing your own eggs and also the high amount of low attack/high health creatures

The egg is so good in shaman/zoo decks. Between flame tongue totems, rock biter, dire wolf, abusive Sargeant, it’s easy to get that thing cracked. Power overwhelming combo is fantastic with it too. The small spider is also great at terrorizing in zoo.

I bought the rest of naxx this morning, I have a weekend planned in 3 weeks where in going to dump all my gold into arena (2400 currently). Can’t wait.

Edit: a bad way to use the egg? A mage played it on turn 1 with coin, used hero power turn 2 and 3 to crack it. Meanwhile, my board control is ready to handle a turn 3 4/4.

Yeah, I currently use power overwhelming on my eggs if the opponent doesn’t kill them for me. Even better if I have Shadowflame.

Unfortunately the gargoyle is really bad with those stats. Contender for the worst card of Naxxramas.
A great card will be released in ~2 weeks, the 3 mana 2/8 with taunt, death rattle = opponent plays a random minion.
Endure 2 more weeks of 90% zoo/aggro decks…
