Supposed leak of Naxx cards and bosses here.
Looks legit. Canât read the text on that 6/8 legendary.
Looks like it says the following:
At the end of the turn, summon all friendly minions that died this turn.
As an 8 drop thatâs a 6/8, thatâs pretty fucking insane, especially when combined with deathrattles. Amazing effect that interacts with your shit thatâs already on the board, and he canât get hit by BGH!
I donât understand, BGH is literary there to keep strong cards like that in check if you look at the likes of Illidan, Baron etc. But what is a WoW themed expansion without the immense powercreep.
That 6/8 is the only reason why I think that the leak could be fake. The card would be perfectly balanced if it was a 8/6 instead of a 6/8.
Wouldnât be the first time Blizzard released OP cards.
Youâre giving them too much credit, Blizzard is renown for terrible balance decisions. That 5 mana 4/7 looks really dumb as well.
The oddest thing is not using the last spot on the menu and instead putting it right in the middle
Iâm terrified at the thought of what Thaddius is like and all the memories i had of raiding it with 3-5 fps lol.
Also as a note; the 6/8 legendary is Kelâthuzas, the last boss of Naxx in WoW.
So since blizzard wants the deathrattle theme, of course theyâll make him a bit overpowered to the point that people will definitely try to experiment with him.
Turn 7 Sir Zeliek + Master of Disguise anyone?
Thatâll be soo stupid rofl, doubt itâll work. Itâll be a great priest card though. a 1/7 turn 3 minion with a ability like that will fuck up aggro so bad.
Also seems that the 4 horsemen will all have 1/7 stats, well if this was real.
Iâm pretty sure that Sir Zeliek is a boss-only card, since itâs being played by a boss character.
Iâd assume those are encounter only creatures, no jewel indicating card quality.
Donât kill my fatigue rogue hype guys :tdown.
Why does that 5 mana 4/7 look âreally dumbâ?
4/7 for 5 is some really good stats, since it has a big butt (doesnât typically die to 1 card on turn 5). Typically, for 5 mana, an average card will have 10 points worth of stats, with some points being sacrificed for extra abilities. For example, the closest comparison to Feugen, the 4/7 is the 5 mana 3/6 with taunt, Fen Creeper (doesnât see play due to not killing virtually anything that costs 4 mana in one hit). Additionally, Archmage is a 6 mana 4/7 with +1 spell power, yet it doesnât see any play for the same reason Fen Creeper doesnât. Additionally, Feugenâs extra card text can be potentially good enough to offset playing his crappy sibling Stalagg, while no one is rushing to play a 5 cost taunter or 6 cost dude that provides 1 whopping spell damage.
11 stats for 5 mana are nice but 10 stats and a useful text overcome it easily.
Donât know how âusefullâ the text is, but I canât see it ever being used in competitive games, as a 7/4 is pretty much⌠terrible.
Simply terrible, itâs pretty impossible to get any value out of it. Core hound value.
Compared to a Stranglethorn or Spiteful, which are situational but seen nowadays, a legendary with those stats feels meh.
Not even comparing the gloriousness of a 5drop that Druid of the Claw is.
Worth a legendary from whatâs known so far? No.
Based on current decks, canât think of one that would run one or even both of them
Stalaggâs best use so far is to trigger a 7 damage Shadowflame.
Itâs seldom to get value out of Spiteful Smithâs effect but sheâs amazing at eating several cards when your opponent removes her, this card would do the same but better and filling a similar body role for classes without weapons. The effect is also unknown as of now so weâll see about that I guess.
The quality of the card hardly matters and itâs neutral unlike DotC.
It being dumb is that I can see them gravitating towards having cards with 1 extra thoughness at each mana value, powercreep?
sidenote: Stranglethorn Tigers, have been testing them out with Druid and theyâve been really strong.
