You only get packs that are usable in standard, so no gvg from arena.

I know you got an Aldor in your hand but the dude got so demoralized he quit even after he dropped a 29/29 C’thun lol

Magnificent Bastard Blizzard…they made Bolf specifically to counter C’Thun a set early.

That’s what I was going to try, when I get around to it.

@Naeras I’ll post up a deck list when I get on today.

Exactly how I feel, but I may just craft him anyway to have him, he’s the last old God I need

Another set of good anti CT tech is sylvannas and mana wraith. At least buys you some time. I saw a sick combo, brann and that 2/1 deal 2 damage battlecry! Deals 2 damage twice and adds +4/+4 to cthun, wow

Yeah I want a N’Zoth for Deathrattle Hunter 2.0.

I keep thinking about pulling the trigger and crafting N’Zoth, but then I don’t. I’m still sitting on exactly 1600, but I get that twinge of “the meta is far from settled”…

N’Zoth rogue/priest is hella fun.

But I also don’t have the toxin rogue legendary, fuck

That’s actually the one legend I pulled from my packs so far. However, I don’t have Cairn…

I may craft n’zoth for deathrattle rogue/hunter /priest, and twin emps for my c’thun warrior. N’zoth seems maybe too greedy to stay relevant, its like a better Kel’Thuzad. But perhaps it’s enough fun to be worth the dust.

I got a gold copy of the rogue toxin legendary, I should really make a deck with it. I probably should craft VC at some point, too.

He seems to be be a good finisher, considering he gives you a full board and the decks in question function very well even without him. Rattlerogue was a decent deck even pre-Whispers/standard. That’s even more so the case now.

Yeah I gave in and crafted N’Zoth lol. Having fun playing deathrattle Paladin and rogue. I’m still trying to see if C’thun decks are gonna be relevant and if they are I’m gonna craft the twin cause they are so much value

Cairne is like my second legendary so it’s nice to see him be relevant again

Man…sitting on 3200+ dust, I am so tempted to craft Twin Emperor Vel’kor. However, I worry that maybe C’thun decks will actually suck and be noncompetitive once the meta settles…which then will make it a useless craft. Something I certainly can’t afford.

So, I DE’d all my wild cards. All of them. And from those ashes, I built Paladin Deathrattle and Rogue Deathrattle. I really, really like the new Ragnaros…

C’Thun decks are heavily competitive and will remain so, no amount of meta adjustment can play around a gigantic 29/29 burst to your face unless Bolf Ramsholt really does become heavily played, and that’s still not a definitive answer to C’Thun. Honestly I don’t even like C’Thun decks. Each classes version is almost identical save for 2/3 cards in each and they’re repetitive to play.

Decks I’ve been playing:

Deathrattle Hunter is a good deck, it’s just too weak against Zoo and face shaman… Annihilates control though, 4 lions + 2 sylvannas is too much for anyone to deal with. New all animal companions spell is insane in terms of stats.

Pirate Warrior is a sleeper deck in terms of sheer power. So much direct damage, so much synergy. The 1 drop is nasty to deal with, and if Cthun decks don’t get their 5/7 taunts out they are straight fucked.

As expected, Zoolock is a great deck and has some great new cards. Not quite optimized yet, but this deck is gonna be a nightmare for classes that lack AOE.

Tempo mage is nice and strong. Got a bunch of strong new drops, and no shredder means that frostbolt is now premium removal. Waiting on some cards to try shatter mage. Loosing scientist sucks though.

I don’t think that’s a realistic fear. Cthun cards are decently strong in terms of stats, and at least Cthun Warrior certainly seems like a good deck against most archetypes, and Cthun Renolock is looking like a contender, and Twin Emperor is a mus have card for Cthun, so I’d say craft it unless there is another legendary you really want.

you use the spellpower guy, the 4/2 divine shield as your 4 drop, and the 2/1 who deals 2, and replace your second finisher with c’thun.

But yeah i switched to normal tempo mage the last few days and hit rank 2 3 stars, but didn’t feel like pushing for legend. I hit rank 5 doing quests, and was just trying stuff out and kept winning for whatever reason. Didn’t want to play like 6 hours of Hearthstone ranked on Sunday.
