I finally got through to rank 6 after waffling between 9 and 8 for around 6 hours. I think I’ve hit my skill cap!
While I think legendary is beyond my reach, I’d still like to hit rank 5 for that gold epic.
Edit: unearthed raptor seems to crash the android app. Twice now I’ve lost games after raptor is played. Their turn never appears to end, and if you restart you end up with a loss.
it disconnects me about 40-50% of the time it’s played against me.

If you close the game quick enough and reopen(at least on pc) you have a chance to reconnect, but even then you might lose a turn. They should really disable the card until they figure that out, I’ve lost like 6 games split between arena and constructed to it being played.

I’m guessing a ton of people play on phones instead of PC? I was playing Arena last night, 4 - 0, go to play my 5th game, alt tab to look at some porno real quick, alt tab to check out what to mulligan, and I had already won. Woo?
I now enjoy playing during work hours. And I take real long on all my turns. Fuck you and your break.
edit: seems there are two separate raptor bugs. They fixed one (where you got several deathrattles at once), but there is still a bug where playing the raptor alone can cause crashes. LOTS of rogues around last few days playing that shit at the end of a game when they were about to lose. Meant to post the other day about how many more rogues I’ve been seeing the last few days.
Depends, it seems to happen to a large percentage of people enough to where blizzard acknowledges it and it trying to figure it out, but not for everyone. I feel bad when I play it and somebody disconnects, but its definitely like 1 in 5-6 games or something, not that often, and it doesnt disconnect me ever. I think its platform/system related, because it can disco the rogue who plays it too
It discos me everytime for me. It actually blocked a streak where I would have hit rank 5 for the first time. Just a little salty.
I can use the raptor fine, though… It’s weird.

i used it twice and my opponents DC’d both times…I felt a little bad, but probably would have won anyways.
I think you need a stronger early game. Loot hoarders, eggs, creepers… Something. You’ll get too far behind.

so what would you swap in/out?
I’d get rid of oil, add creepers or something. That way you can actually use raptors on curve if needed. I like eggs to combo.
Also, do you have Sneed? In slower raptor decks like yours, I think it’s pretty awesome.
I’m also using cairne in my faster deck atm. I have either sylv + raptor or cairne +raptor for late game synergy. I run eggs, loot hoarder, creeper, abusive, cold blood, 2 fan of knives. No prep it sprint, since I have thalnos, hoarders and drakes for draw. And no poison either… It’s too clunky with how my deck works. It could work in your variation though.

prep and sprint i was debating removing from my deck…might keep one sprint, just in case (for late game shit or if i have to kill a bunch of shit early). Deck as it is was doing quite well when I was playing last night, but I agree with some of your thoughts. I’d like to keep at least one oil in the deck.

Yeah honestly the only thing you can hope sticks is a shredder. If you insist on a weapon buff I’d keep the poison over oil, or remove poison and add creepers for stickiness.
I don’t think you need oil in a death rattle rogue. You’re not really looking for burst. It seems like you’re making a hybrid oil/death rattle though.

remade it but kept in one oil, which helped me win against dragon priest.
rank 1, I think i’ve lost to turn 6 reno with no additional card draw 4x in the last 2 days.
Got a guy to 1(!) today on t4, his argus stopped me from swinging for lethal but i had burn. t5 loatheb, t6 reno. super frustrating.
