Had to delete the Warrior, Priest and Rogue decks recently. Sucks because those classes are kinda cool, but I don’t have the necessary cards like Grommash or Ysera to make a Control Warrior or a Dragon Priest deck, and as I didn’t buy the LoE adventure yet - I don’t have any Discover cards either to make a good Rogue
So for now I’m playing
- Beastmaster Hunter
- Control Warrior (without Tirion for now)
- Midrange Druid
- Zoolock (Really want to play Handlock though)
- MechMage (well, sort of. Wish I had Antonidas to have a source of spell barrage)
- Totem Shaman (pretty much any other deck, except for a Bloodlust Shaman, wouldn’t work without the necessary cards)
Kinda hard to choose decks too, since I don’t want my entire decklist to consist of Midrange classes, that would be kinda boring

I had to delete a ton of my decks. It’s annoying only having 9 decks to play with. Oh I wanna try out this shaman deck, oh well, time to delete a fully working deck just to try out one that might not work as well as I had hoped, just so I can remake the working deck again.
The only decks I am committed to are tempo mage, face hunter, midrange hunter, and Oil Rogue. Lately it’s been various versions of Oil Rogue to see how I can work around Reno Jackson more. Other than that I’m looking into death rattle rogue. I do want more deck slots though. I might try building other decks. I just keep decks around for quests and dont want to make them again since zoolock, dragon priest, midrange druid etc are all basic anyways.

I don’t want them to monetize every aspect of this game, but I can’t see them having a tremendous issue with charging us like 5 bucks for 9 more deck slots. I want the option to have at least 2 decks for each hero.
if only you had this awesome program called the hearthstone deck tracker that could import and export decks from websites and into hearthstone… so that when you delete a working deck to try and test out a new deck getting your old deck back was as easy as just deleting the testing deck and selecting export to hearthstone.
PS: the deck tracker is amazing… you should use it.

I’ve been terrified to use any programs when I play blizzard games. Don’t want account banned or any of that shit. I’ve seen some that show you exactly what cards you have left in your deck, odd’s of drawing certain ones, shit like that…but was terrified to use them out of fear of being banned
even when I played Diablo III, I used a macro in my mouse and not with a program, to do gear swapping.

It’s an understandable position with blizzard games as they don’t really hold the ban hammer back. and i did the same thing for my macro’s in d3. That being said i got on the deck tracker train when i read comments from one of blizz’ lead devs for hearthstone claiming that the tracker was fine seeing as how it didn’t give the player any information that they couldn’t have by just being very observant and taking really good notes.
the program is crazy good, some of the things it does are like you mentioned where it will have a list on the right of what cards are still left to draw and your odds of drawing them if you have 2 copies left or 1 copy in the deck… that’s just the basics, it’s also showing you which cards your opponent has played, which turns he drew the various cards in his hand, which ones the coin and which cards he decided to mulligan. When they play a secret it will display a list of secrets for that class and as you/them take actions that rule out a secret it greys that one out (ie fighting a hunter and attack a minion without triggering the secret and it will grey out freezing trap, and snake trap).
that’s just the stuff that it’s showing during the game. outside of during games it’s tracking stats for your various decks like how often you win/lose against other classes etc, has import/export features, auto-screenshot at the end of games. Then with plugins there is one that tracks your collection and can tell you which pack has the best odds of getting you a new card vs. dust, and the arena helper plugin will show you card values based on this list; http://www.heartharena.com/tierlist
all in all a pretty sweet little program, even though it’s constantly tracking just how terrible i am at this game lol.
I play mostly on mobile. So that doesn’t help me. Plus it is frustrating to make a deck on a phone/tablet

Kripparian is using a decktracker live, on stream, that shows when a certain card gets drawn or played or mulligan’d. I’d wager if Blizzard has any issues with that - they’d either prohibit the usage or just ban him entirely
supposedly there is a mobile version of the deck tracker.
this is the one i’m using… pretty sure it’s the one kripp uses as well; https://github.com/Epix37/Hearthstone-Deck-Tracker
and like i said, devs have weighed in on them and said they have no problems with it.

I installed that one. Trying it out now.
edit: duuuude it knows my cards before i do, thats ghost levels of creepyness
Hearthstone writes to a log file, it simply reads from that log file to do what it does. Blizz could shut it down by stopping the log file easily.
As far as deck slots, theres going to be a huge redesign of stuff to allow it. I am interested to see what they come up with. My guess? Death Knight class + ui redesign + unlimited deck slots

I’ve been wanting a proper class that uses the graveyard…
I think that a deck tracker is an invaluable tool for playing Fel Reaver decks. I’m pretty good about remembering what my opponent and I have drawn and played, but keeping track of the 6-12 cards that get milled off Fel Reaver is too hard for me to do mentally.
Speaking of Fel Reaver, it is rapidly becoming my favorite card in the game. An 8/8 with effectively no drawback is insane value! It’s just too bad BGH is a thing, but oh well that’s how it goes sometimes.
Its not really no drawback, its just that realistically any deck running fel reaver is dead if it goes late game anyway, it just makes it easier to run out of steam.
If there wasn’t BGH, Fel Reaver would be so good. I used to really hate BGH, and I still do, but I like its forced blizzard to make unique cards and not rely on big stats
I pretty much prefer Peddler Zoo to Demon Zoo nowadays just because Peddler runs BGH. In fact I am considering double BGH in Deathrattle Rogue just because it already runs Abusive Sergeant anyway.
Speaking of Deathrattle Rogue, I am loving it. I’ve always hated the Oil playstyle to having a value option for Rogue has been a godsend for me. I think my current list has too many 5-drops though:
2 Backstab
2 Abusive Sergeant
2 Loot Hoarder
2 Nerubian Egg
2 Haunted Creeper
1 Ironbeak Owl
2 Unearthed Raptor
2 SI7 Agent
1 Big Game Hunter
2 Piloted Shredder
2 Defender of Argus
1 Kezan Mystic
2 Sludge Belcher
2 Dark Iron Skulker
1 Loatheb
1 Antique Healbot
1 Sylvanas
1 Dr. Boom
1 Kel Thuzad

The only problem with scarab is the huge tempo loss, putting a 1/1 out on turn 2 is so weak. I feel like you need something like a chow turn 1 just to make up for the tempo loss. Luckily the discover mechanic is pretty solid, so its not terrible. But basically its directly comparable to a novice engineer right now (which never sees play)
Novice is a 2 mana 1/1, draw a card from your deck ( guaranteed to be a good card)
Scarab is a 2 mana 1/1, draw a random 3 cost card (guaranteed to be on curve, but not always relevant)
The fact it always smooths out your curve is nice for sure, but it always puts you on the backfoot
Agreed.
I mostly play mid range Shaman, and I although I keep hearing how supposedly great this card is for my class, I don’t see swapping out any of my zombie chows for it.
Tunnel Trogg looks like a more appealing swap in that slot, IMHO.
Soo happy to see the epic spark, oh the rage after realizing what I got:
I guess they felt bad I got shit, so I got another epic lol
I drafted exactly 4 spells in Arena today.

Yay, rank 5 achieved again, and the first wing of LoE got unlocked with gold. Good times.
The best part here? Both of those epics are so bad that I am genuinely unsure which one of those you were mad about.
