Hearthstone - That other, other, other Blizzard game

Lorewalker Cho…every time I tried to play that in arena (which was twice), I ended up falling behind and having to fuck myself by playing a spell first.

I’d probably pick lorewalker cho if I had a ungodly low amount of removals in my deck and its one of the last picks. Having a lorewalker on the field which most likely get ignored, then you throw down a venture co mercenary/taunts/priority removal targets… it’ll be a interesting situation.

Hmm, good idea. Actually…if I were going to use Lorewalker Cho in any of my constructed decks, I feel that he would be perfect in Paladin. So many of their buffs and debuffs either come from minions or weapons, so you could theoretically get away with it. The only time that it would blow ass to Lorewalker would be if the board got away from you, and you needed to pop Equality + Consecrate.

Man, Lorewalker was so fucking good when he was a 1/4, since you could always just sac him before playing your own spells.

Wait so lorewalker won’t give someone a copy of a truesilver weapon if played? Welp going to sneak one in my paladin deck and test it out. Lore walker behind Tirion is going to be hilarious now only vulnerable to minion silences. Even Gruul would be somewhat threatening now.

Fair amount of minions on my side of the field on turn 6 and playing against a mage? Hold this lorewalker, dare you to flame strike me.

Mirror match against a paladin? SPREAD THE GOSPEL AND LET ME LAY ON HANDS TOO. Holy shit actually… doing a equality combo with concecrate against someone with lorewalker is such a fucked up situation. You’ll get both equality and conc before he wipes your field.

Or he just truesilvers into lorewalker and laughs his way to card advantage lol

Lorewalker doesn’t copy weapons, since weapons aren’t spells.

My updated paladin deck with Cho.

He’s amazing so far in this deck.

I had a sturdy field of minions buffing each other up with truesilvers backing them up, reducing the amount I need to trade. Then I threw down Cho around the time I was expecting AoEs, then the other player started frantically looking through his hand and coined into sunwalker.

**AND CHO COPIED THE COIN. ** This dude is hilarious.

Also peacekeeper is a great card. Either im using him to make it so that im not trading any of my early minions or I bring a fatty down to size. FOLLOW DA RULES.

Truesilver getting buffed 1/1 and turning it into a arcanite reaper with 3 durability and heals for 2 per swing by Captain greenskin is still hilarious too. I have yet to 1/1 buff ashbringer from 5/3 to 6/4. No one really lives past the first swing.

What sort of nightmare deck have I just enabled?

A good fun one.

Peacekeeper-ing a Venture Co. Merc. is the best-feeling turn 5 counterplay in Hearthstone.

 I was watching when this happened.

Holy crap…I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner, but I could use Questing Adventurer with the Master of Disguise. Stealth the adventurer, and just leave it there and let it build up.

If I’m correct the moment you play a card he’s gonna lose the stealth. I played Pimpwilly a while back and I remember him using that type of deck, buffing the Questing Adventurer then stealthing him at the end of the turn

You lose stealth if you deal, or if your toughness changes.

Stealth only breaks if he deals damage. If he’s losing it after a buff, that’s a bug.

That should be a bug, unless the game rules is wrong.

I just saw a video with a guy giving Gruul stealth with Master of Disguise, and it stayed stealthed for multiple turns. Does Questing Adventurer operate under a different system? If only I were at home to test this out.

Yup, Questing Adventurer + conceal one turn, next turn you pump the shit out of him and one turn kill with like a 25/25. You never really directly buffed the minion though, it was just his passive that grants him +1/+1, so not sure if that makes a difference?

It was called “Miracle Rogue” and it was very good until rogue got nerfed, then it was too chancey.

Wonder if I should run that for the no epic or legendary tournament lol, its all rares (outside of preparation which I never hard), just replace bloodmage thalnos and van cleef with something else

I dunno if proper Miracle Rogue is consistent enough without epics or legendaries. Sometimes you need that surprise Leeroy into Shadowstep into Leeroy finish, backed with multiple Cold Bloods. That said, I guess you could sneak in some extra reach with Assassin’s Blades or Arcane Golems.
