At least you can’t activate with that card the same turn. But another activator that also adds a huge that (that avoids bgh) is scary, for sure.
Shield Block, Acolyte of Pain and Battle Rage can potentially activate now though.
Like Flame Leviathan you are relying on drawing this when you have a nice board that can benefit from its effect. There is no reliable way to ensure this, maybe a one of in a patron deck…maybe.

Oh my God I love that card. Not really usable, as battle cry minions are so important… But definitely massive cool factor.
Yeah Varian is a very cool card, and the value…is real good, actually insanely good. Think of the worse case scenario, you don’t draw any minions. Well then it is a 7/7 draw 3 cards. Arcane intellect is 3 mana to draw 2 cards…7/7 of stats is 7 mana worth. So you are guaranteed getting an extra mana worth of value. Then so much more if you draw any minions, especially high cost ones. Ysera, Ragnaros, Grommash…you could draw those and they all get put on the board for free.
The mage legendary was also revealed.
Rhonin synergizes with flamewaker, gazlowe, and antonidas, not to mention malygos. Pretty cool.
Drop this, turn 10 antonidas + 3 arcane missiles = lol

Unlike Flame Leviathan you have more tools to abuse the activation, along with having 2 so the variance is better in your favor.
Yeah the variance is better in your favor, but is still going to be inconsistent in getting value. Also the 6 spot is such a competitive one.

With all these cool legendaries being released for TGT, will Hunter finally get a class legendary that fits it and is actually good? All the other classes have a kickass legendary or even two that perfectly fits their class.

I wouldn’t be against a more mid ranged legendary.
Hunter legendary will be “Inspire: Summon a random beast”
It doesn’t have to be for ‘face hunter’, but for mid range, or be good enough to make another viable hunter archetype. I mean it kind of sucks for hunter…honestly. Why not a legendary that encourages that just out of reach “control” hunter? Hunter is so limited in the types of viable builds, a perfect opportunity to release a strong legendary that encourages something new.
Also is Varian Wynn TGT’s Dr. Boom? The value is insane even in its worst case scenario.
Think they gave Gahzrilla to the wrong class.
Yeah, this is what I’m talking about. Gahzrilla would be a nice fit for warrior, so easy to proc the effect and he has a bunch of cards with the enrage mechanic. What were they thinking tossing it in hunter? They need to use hunter’s strengths, class cards/synergy to come up with a suitable legendary.
