Speaking of Malygos…I got him off an unstable portal. Saved him for turn 10 lethal with fireball, ah the fun!
Also Flamewaker turn 5…2 arcane missles, 1 coin, 1 spare part, 1 soot spewer from unstable portal (so zero cost).

finally hit 12 wins in arena with rogue after finally getting my average with it over the last few months to 7~
need to 12 with hunter, warrior, and priest still, but i don’t play those classes unless they are the only 3 offered.

Yep, pretty much why Patron warrior is considered top tier.
They got a great strategy vs aggro and control, if they’re behind they can still OTK you out of nowhere, god like card draw, multiple win conditions, plenty variety in decks, great matchups overall with maybe an exception vs handlock but it’s very much winnable, a LOT of good mulligan options so you don’t end up with a dead hand too often.
Lastly, it’s the greatest deck to bm people with.
I know the handlock match-up is bad, but it would be more manageable if you knew you were up against hand and not zoo. Completely different mulligans.
Interested to try out dragon warrior too. Looks slightly worse than traditional, with a better mid game if you can activate corruptors.
Also, it looks like the shadow priest guy removed me from friends. It was rottonboo# but I don’t know the numbers.
Finally got shop opened on my phone. Uninstalled the Google Play edition and installed it from the Amazon App Store. Problem solved.
lol good luck getting 12 with warrior, it’s the worst arena class for a reason. Dunno why you wouldn’t play Arena with hunter, you can pull off big wins easily with enough good card draws to play face or hybrid hunter. I pick hunter a lot when I get the chance.
My buddy has been playing it lately and enjoying it. Been doing well, and winning a lot of games (he’s rank 5 I think).

I’ve been playing a shadowform deck I threw together, I’ll post it later today. Only one cabal priest, But I haven’t really needed more than one of her (fuck that 6 cost). Trying to figure what else can go in or out at this point. Been winning a lot with the deck, so hurray. Lots of ways to win, and do big damage. Nice card draw, board clearing, and bursts of damage. Seems to be a good deck to use Alexstrasza as well. I’m shocked how often I can win without ever playing Shadowform, either.
edit: are all the cards statistically created to setup epic games or something? Just finished a breathtaking game with my shadowform deck. Back and forth all fucking game long. Used a light bomb and an alchemist to kill one 4/6 creature. Held onto shadowform all fucking game long, got second one in hand and came dangerously close to playing them too early. Had to use Alex to get him down to 15 early on aggressively, instead of saving her for defence. Dude starts just rampaging me with little shit, and then big shit too. I’m praying for Velen so I can Mind Blast him for 10 and scare him maybe for a turn or two or something. Still holding these fucking shadowforms (both of which, and the mind blast, are -2 cost because of Thaurrisian). Dude decides fuck Thaurrisian, goes face, puts me at 1, and plops a 3/3 taunt and a leg. Didn’t even bother looking. Given up at this point. BAM mind blast. Bust out both shadowforms, kill the taunt with shadowy goodness, thaurrisian to the face, two velen-less mind blasts later, i taunted the shit out of that poor sloppy fuck. Eat all the dicks. Every last one of them.
With shadowform, dont forget that when you change, your hero power resets. So you can do like shadowform, hero power to deal 2 damage, shadowform, hero power to deal 3 damage, making it 5 damage burst. Can make the difference.

oh didn’t realize that lol. I knew about it when i changed from heal to shadow (i would heal, shadowform, then use it again). Never thought about 2, then 3. But then again, I rarely get the second shadowform.
this is my shadowform deck now, and the few epics I got for neutral (all priest epics are in the deck):
I wanna add Doomsayer in there, but then I’d need to add another alchemist (which I kinda do want in there), as well as Velen’s Chosen. Then I run into the problem of what to take out. Velen’s could make my early/mid game a bit stronger, but at what cost? Deathlord’s would be interesting too, for potential burst damage, but FUCK that deathrattle. That shit can break you.
I’ve only gotten legs a couple of times on Arena.
We’ll see how midranginess works here.
Midrange can work in Arena but it has to be VERY strong Midrange and honestly I don’t see it. The Buffs would be better if you had better early game.
Arena now more than ever is reliant on that early game. Cards like Zombie Chow and Worgen Infiltrator are just such a tempo swing. And if you get your early minions to stick while building field presence you just don’t lose. It’s why Paladin is a strong Arena class now, because of having both Argent Protector and Shielded Minibot. Mage is the strongest though because it can play early tempo AND it can play Midrange better than most in Arena so drafts across the board tend to be more likely to succeed.
I find you usually need at least one to go 7+, 12 seems to require 2 legs, most of the time (I had 2 when I won 12)
edit: lol just stomped some poor fucker…turn 5 killed him with a 6/3 zombie I had smashing him by turn 2 from behind annoy.
You do not need Legs to go 12. It helps sure, but it’s not the end all. Dr. Boom doesn’t mean shit if your early/mid game is trash.
My 12 and 11 runs had no legendary. My 12 had a cabal shadow priest, 3 dark cultists and 2 6/6 +3 health minions.
The 11 had fireballs and flamestrike all over the place.
I’m not a veteran like some of you guys, but I don’t mind hunter in the arena. I always take Paladin or Mage if they are available, they seem a big step above the rest in the arena.
So Flame Leviathan, I just tossed one into my mech mage deck, but it is probably a stupid idea since it is full of small drops and is more likely to wreck my board than my opponent’s. Throwing in 2 flamewalkers seems to have worked really well, but Leviathan…guess you have to build a deck around with a lot of spells and some high health powerful minions.
