Anyways I thought they should have saved Dragon consort for near the end, most of the Blackrock dragons haven’t been released yet. I guess if you have Ysera, Onyxia, Alexxstraza, it could be insane with those.
I do, and it is sometimes. Trying Rend out and a more aggressive deck variation with spell damage Avenging Wrath shenanigans.
Need to get me a Malygos soon.
I never hear much about Malygos, but I always thought he’d be awesome to have. I guess he has to survive a turn, unless you are rogue who has many 1 and 0 cost spells in addition to preparation. Guess moonfires could work too…but they kind of suck on their own. Let me know how Rend works out, I don’t have any of the big legendary dragons (have most of the smaller ones though) so I’ll have to wait til Cromaggus and Nefarian are released.
There are some spell damage Mage and Shaman decks that delay until they drop Thar while having Malygos and spells in hand.
Then you drop him and just go HAM with cheap spells, looks fun but not super effective.
I just like the idea of dropping a cheaper Malygos, clearing board, then doing 13 Avenging Wrath hits the following turn.
Let you know how my Rend experimentations go. I still think he is to costly and front heavy but I have some ideas.
Mage, for instance. Maly down to 8, frostbolts down to 1, ice lances down to 0 = 34 damage in 1 turn I think lol

Fridge Mage seems more consistent with the Thar and Maly power duo than Shaman for sure.

Well short amount of time…but on the druid daily what I felt…
Druid of the flame is actually very solid. 5/2 can’t be removed by hero powers and is a massive threat, 2/5 can clean up a couple small minions.
Volcanic Lumberer is a lumbering piece of crap! He just sat there in my hand forever…maybe I could get him same cost as ancient…but what’s the point of that? You’d have to pull of some ridiculous expensive board clear like poison seed + starfall to get good value from him. Anyways if he is going to work, the deck has to be built around him…I don’t think he is viable though.
Even with putting druids of the flame in my deck, and a Mukla in addition to 2 druids of the claw, and 2 power of the wild. I was often just sitting there with unplayable druid of the fang. There are going to have to be a lot more great druid beasts, for druid of the fang to be worth running over sludge belcher.
I caved and finally crafted 2x doomguard and my second Argus. I got win 5 on lock/shaman and it just wasn’t going well.
Zoo with gang boss is really strong. That card is a lot better than I thought it would be.

Can anyone vouch for demon lock before I go and start dusting stuff? I’d probably go ahead and make hand lock while I’d be at it, so:

I’d hate to dust my only gold legendary… But I just can’t forsee mogor getting play unless there is some major development in ogre synergy.
I tried Demon Lock, and it seems okay, but it really seems to lack finishing power. I don’t have Malganis or Jaraxxus though. I would do really solid early to mid game, with demonfire and demonwrath putting in work. It really wrecks Hunter by clearing their board. But then it kind of peters out; they get a key silence or hard removal off, and you’re in trouble. Im absolutely sure its viable, and the new demonwrath just makes it all the more amazing, but the decklist seems less forgiving
It just seems fun. I’m just at odds dusting a legendary I’m sure I won’t use (at least for a while).
