Ah, best two turn run ever.
Lategame? Hunters will drop this wanker on curve.
The explosive sheep was an odd choice for that board lol
I was feeling myself a bit I wonāt lie.
When Hobgoblin came up in the draft I was going to ignore it as usualā¦and then I realized I had 7 minions with 1 Attack.
Hobgoblin into Acolyte of Pain is one of the best, most valuable plays in HS.
Hobby plus AoP, Annoy o tron, and Imp Master.
Just good stuff.
Was thinking ha like thatāll do them any good because their opponents hp wonāt be that low by turn 6.
ā¦then I realized I was talking about the hunter class and now Iām scared. First Fel Reavers pre BGH meta now this asshole might come around if BGH takes a hit or both.
Hunters and Mage always get something new, they will never not be a thing. I can still find uses for cards I enjoy without worrying about āOh wait Hunter can use this too Iām fucked.ā
Just want some more Control and Tempo stuff, this Rush era is getting bothersome.
Funny, because a year ago Hunters were deemed the worst class that nobody would ever play; such short memories we have
Ahā¦a year ago, I guess before my time. Though I have nothing against hunters, they get more unwarranted hate than any other class.
Anyways though some of the cards look cool, I am very disappointed with the legendaries revealed thusfar. I mean Rend Blackhand? Really? Iām no expert, but 4 health, plus the condition to hold a dragonā¦and the target can only be a legendary. Maybe if it could silence and then destroy a legendary (ha take that sylvanas!), but even then it seems poor.
Then Nefarianā¦9 mana. What maybe you can put one 9 mana card in a deck, and not even all decks? Who would use Nefarian over the other 9+ drops? Plus there are a bunch of sucky spells, some of which not all heroes can use. If you could hand pick the spells (1 force of nature + 1 savage roar plz!, or maybe 2 fireballs) then that would be something. As is, can it actually be competitive?
Nef seems like an arena card.

this was liquids look back at hearthstone in 2013. Last line of the article:
Warlock might be the dominant class today, but who knows what innovations or patch changes 2014 will bring. Who knows? Maybe even Hunter will get a chance in the spotlight one day. Nah, probably not.
lol
Priest used to be the most dominant, too, thanks to SWD and SWP, and started the rise of the 4 power creatures being popular
-
Yeah Nefarian may be deadly in arena, cause opponent may very likely not have anything to remove him with (BGH or spells). Plus you get a few spells which could save the day. Though I thought they designed all cards for constructed?
-
I guess what liquids said about Hunter in 2013 is what could be said about Priest? Hasnāt priest been at the bottom for quite some time now?
Priest had 8 mana mind control around that time
I started in about September or something? Hunter was the easiest to build and I never felt it was bad. Just certain Hunter decks arose that dominated in spurts.
Hunter usually isnāt an issue since they lack good natural card draw, and I am still fond of my Control Hunter. But its easy as shit to go face with that and get some easy wins.
Mage though I donāt even know, they are always bothersome.
Yeah I startedā¦just a bit before Naxx released. I still found the alexstrasza freeze mage by far the most annoying type of deck Iāve ever faced. Mech mage is everywhere now, canāt say that is a fun deck to face (particularly when a destroyed piloted shredder summons a mech warper!)ā¦but hey Iām running one myself so I guess I canāt complain.
8 mana priest mind controlā¦wow that is awesome! I only run one now, though I did try two out at the beginning. It still is great, but obviously it takes the whole turn so it better be an awesome minion (or for critical board advantage, whatever).
