Personally, even with the hunter buffs I don’t think there will be way more Shamans.
Didn’t profit from GvG thaaat much (mostly Neptulon and Crackle?) and the class is just way too honest.
Somehow I’m never really afraid of anything a Shaman has to offer.
Well, unless I play handlock. Screw Earth Shock. :v
Hey pimpwilly what do you disagree with? That casual has more variety or that matches are faster? Or both? Since you are playing in the top 10 ranks mostly you’re experience is probably different from mine. When I started I played exclusively ranked, I did that for the first 2 seasons (months) doing my dailies exclusively on ranked. The 2nd season (my first full one) I got to 14 before it ended. Anyways my personal experience with that as well as the very short time each month I play in ranked since then are what I’m drawing from.
Generally it seems people take more time with their decisions in ranked, I assume cause the penalty of losing and wanting to rank up. There seems to be less variety in not only deck types and cards but classes as well. Again I assume cause people are trying to play the most competitive deck/class they can.
I disagree in the variety, I’ve tried doing Casual for some dailies when I didnt want to mess up my rank, and every single casual match was getting stomped by the same cookie cutter decks I see on ladder. There was nothing casual about it. Above rank 15, ranked is way better to play for dailies than casual.
Of course I believe it could just be because Casual tracks your MMR for life, so once you’ve crossed some threshold it’s forever tainted or something, but theres no way I would be able to throw something together like Pirates warrior and do casual if I wanted to win
I also didnt get to play much ranked this month and will end up like rank 12 or something lol
Watched Pinnacle tournament stream, ended just now.
Everyone with 4 decks, Druid+Warlock galore. 100%. Rest filled with Warrior/Mage/Paladin/Rogue.
Don’t think I’ve seen a single Hunter, Shaman or Priest deck. Maybe I missed it, not entirely sure.
MMR is tracked only for casual matches right? Like if you were a legendary player it wouldn’t effect the Casual mode until you start stomping everyone in that mode. I wouldn’t say it is casual in the sense that people play without a care, however isn’t casual where people experiment with new deck ideas? Like decks they want to take into ranked, but need some testing to see how effective it is.
In theory, yes. In practice, its where everyone goes to stomp people for dailies in my experience. And yeah, only casual games affect Casual MMR, not ranked matches.
I still have zero clue how to describe Kolento’s warlock deck but damn, it’s awesome to watch.
He played some great games with it @ kinguin charity tournament.
Zoo-demon-hand-warlock… thingy. Midrange Warlock?
