Hearthstone - That other, other, other Blizzard game

I guess that it would be because the Foe Reaper hits the people next to him for six damage, and his ability would damage the people to the left and right of him.

Given a setup like so, with Foe Reaper as ©:

A B C D E

C would be attacking B and D due to betrayal, and then the splash damage from the attack on B would hit A and C, and the splash damage from the attack on D would hit C (again) and E.

…In theory.

He’s not attacking, only his damage is dealt.

Yeah, thats not an attack

Unfortunately.

Oop aww.

Oh well using betrayals on water elementals, cobras and maexxna is still good fun.

But…that’s not how it works at all. It does damage to the minions of the either side of the minion it attacks. That’s splash damage on the opponent. Why would anybody play a 6/9 for 8 that hurts their own minions? That would be the worst card ever.

Wait…this assumes that the hit by betrayal counts as an “attack,” but I’m pretty sure there’s no chance of that happening.

HS has gotten really stale. Imma stop playing until the new cards drop.

Yeah same here bottom two brotha.

I’m just doing dailies at this point. Until android release I doubt I’ll have the time to invest to seriously make a push in ladder. Which is all fine, it will give me more time to grind arena once the new packs come out.

yeah it is pretty much susceptible to silence but most of the times they already used up any silencing cards on eggs or a hugely buffed Vterror. if they use it on the VC however its not as big a deal as one might think (even though VC is a key card in this deck) since it will mean a boosted Vterror will have to be removed manually from the board and most classes cant handle all different cards.

the strenght of the DreadInfernal isnt only the battlecry, its the combination of A better stats than Ilidan (my personal oppinion 6/6 is better than 7/5) B the possibility of great value combo with Vcaller and C the chance of doing a boardwipe.

and that kind of sums up the strenght of the deck as I experience it: versatility.

It can build up immense pressure extremely fast (t1 Flameimp, t2 eggs t3 coin VC t4 poweroverwhelming on eggs -> attack (face or minion depending on board) then Vterror between ggs and Vcaller -> Doomguard charge.) = 21 dmg by turn 4 to the face of a handlock and a 3/2, 5/7 and 10/13 on the board. (ofcourse its perfect scenario), then even a double molten+argus is in most cases a hopeless situation for the handlock.
on the other hand it can contain/slow down a lot of agressive decks with Voidwalker, eggs+Poverwhelming, ironbeak, earthen ring, hellfire, vcaller, Argus, sludgebelger, Dread Infernal

but I agree that there might be better decks. I only ran this deck (as it is now) for 3/4 season so tweaking might improve it and I havent seen pro’s use it so it obviously isnt good enough for tournament play I guess but it is tons of fun to play

yeah that is very true, however besides raxx you have pretty much control over which minion it will summon (since you can decide to wait to play it until you clean your hand of voidwalkers and imps). however if you have an early hand raxx it sucks but in that situation it is actually GOOD to have a lot of other demons in your hand because you pretty much never want it to summon raxx (I only had 1 game where it turned out to be ok against a priest where I could buff raxx with an argus to a 4 attack minion 16 health taunt)

6/6 is way better than 7/5, because the 7/5 dies to so much extra. Holy Fire, Loatheb, Big Game Hunter, Sylvanas. Its like the extra 1 point of damage on the attack means so little, but I guess you play him for the bonus off spells creating blades.

2 new cards on blizzs blog

Wow, that Warlock card. Warrior card have potential to be really good.

Edit: Another one, seems good.

How surprising that the new cards completely overshadow existing ones…

Class card maaate

This is Druid Class right?

that robo teddy seems so good

Yes that’s a druid card.

I’m glad we will maybe start to see leas neutrals and more class specific cards used
