Warlock has horrible, horrible class cards.
correction: Warlock has horrible horrible class cards for Arena.
I actually made a really good Demon Deck with which I got to rank 4 last season without trouble. I know rank 4 isnt that great but I hardly have time to play and like I said it didnt cause me much trouble.
its weird though that Iām the only (that Iāve seen) who runs such a deck. I could share it with you guys if you like to give it a try? I can say that it is a LOT of fun to play
Lemme take a look at it.
I play a demon deck, trying to maximize the value of voidcaller, with doom guard and ilidan. Youāre right, shit is fun to play. I like it better than zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzoo
seriously!? you play demons too? thats awesome ! I really thought I was the only one because I never encounter them or see anyone play or even list a deck like it on the internet. Iām going to make a picture of the decklist. itāll be up in 15 minutes or something
Yeah, I played it against pimp a couple of times I donāt think he remembers it though cause I had very shitty draws and I donāt think I won using it
I definitely dont remember seeing an illidan used against me, no : )
Ok hereās my deck. You can indeed swap a Dread Infernal for Ilidan but besides that I dont have Ilidan Yet (though I could craft it), with the current meta running a lot of 1 life creatures and agressive decks I really like the Dread Infernal in the deck. to wipe an entire enemy board and putting a 6/6 on the table. You might also switch ilidan in for another card for more VC-synergy ofcourse but I really like all cards that are in the current deck.
I changed the deck up a couple of times where I ran Pitlord or Demonfire but so far this build has brought me the best results

What is your decklist?
Ive seen a few decks similar to that, I kinda do remember Kim pulling off that deck before and kicking my ass with it.
One thing I would say is the deck doesnāt seem very focused. If your gameplan is built around buffing Void Terrors and eating your eggs, Iād expect more synergy from your lower drops. Like, Ancient Watcher over Void Walker/Flame Imp. They give huge stat boosts, plus if you combo with sunfury protector, you give yourself a second activation for watchers/eggs. Sludge Belchers are good, but this is one deck I just dont really see what they bring, is it to buy your void caller a bit of time? Also Dread Infernals just seem out of place, an opponent that has a bunch of low health minions is gonna have destroyed you by turn 6, so how often do you actually get value out of it?
Overall though I could see how you would be able to climb pretty high with it, I would think in a meta that favors running silence, void terrors could be shut down pretty hard though
This is my deck. I start off with the standard zoo undertaker flame imp deathrattle combos while life tapping to constantly put pressure on my opponent, then once they deal with all the early threats I unleash the big guns, the giants, sylvannas, etc. usually my opponents get caught off guard cause once they see those flame imps they burn their board wipes and hex, etc, leaving them with no answer for my endgame. Voidcaller suicide into Ilidan/Doomguard is devastating.
So many synergies in this deck, Void Terror eats anything and gives me value. Eggs, voidcaller, sylvannas, etc. I donāt really care if they silence him cause heās not really the focus of this deck. Actually making them burn a removal on him will benefit me in the long run. Thatās why I only use one, he serves the same purpose as power overwhelming.
Iām still debating whether to use zombie chow or leper gnome. Zombie chow helps against aggro decks though.
Its interesting you dont run demons, except ones that really benefit from voidcaller⦠like doomguard/illidan if they were your only demons, youād be guaranteed a solid demon to come out
guy did a statistical analysis of what cards were most successful in arena. Used itās ranking over my base intutiion for my last 2 runs got 7 wins as warrior and 12 with Shaman. Only did a little tweaking for curve and there was a point where 2 cards were virtually tied and I took a taunt.
Yeah, Iām thinking of using it the same way people use mad scientist, just put the most essential secrets, you donāt really need to fill your deck with it
So for the most part my deck is still undertaker based, with just a lot of different combos in between, and pushing LORD JARAXXUS for late game
Also, I hate that I canāt quote shit on my mobile
Yeah you donāt want them to summon anything other than Doomguards (and Illidan).
First gut instinct is that Shaman just got a card that will never see play
Second gut instict is maybe deathwing shaman will be viable lol
Dread Infernals are pretty great for my deck. Either the voidcaller summons them for great value or I play them raw for finishing purposes. The deck survives aggro mostly through taunts and getting big dangerous stuff out. If itās getting rough by turn 6 i can throw down moltens and stabilize with siphon soul, and stalagg > shadowflame at turn 9+ is pretty great value, especially if you can get thaddius out of it (another case where the threat of that happening helps bait silences for other cards btw). Basically thereās almost never a down side to the dread infernals in my deck, as 1 damage AOE frequently is pretty valuable in midgame, and a free 6/6 after trading or eating a voidcaller is great value. I chose infernals over doomguards because itās not an aggro deck, so the value of charge isnāt great enough to overcome the loss of two cards.
Shaman deck, all spells + malygos and 1 auctioneer
Maybe you can get Malygos + enough direct damage to win
MAAAAYBE it will see use in constructed to force out alexstraza or other win condition cards from the opponent?
Just saw somebody do the math, Ancestral Recall into Malygos, 2x lighting bolt, 1x frost shock, 1x Lava Burst = 10 mana 32 damage lol
Ancestral Recall into Ancestral Spirit into Reincarnate to swing the game? Stack your deck with huge minions, mechs and alarm-o-bot? Hmm
lol
Iām surprised that Warlock has the worst Arena 12 Win %
Zoo will see Shaman and say āā¦well fuckā.
I keep reading this trying to make sense of it, and itās not working.
Ancestorās Call seems like another one of those cards that feels like absolute garbage to topdeck. Canāt say that I like it, but it does sound like fun to be able to pull out your opponentās Alexstraza or Jaraxxus without the battlecry.
That said, spending 4 mana to let your opponent play something for free doesnāt strike me as a sound strategic decision.
