Holly oocrap, these new cards look absolutely absurd.

Kinda annoyed at several things:
- I can’t even get all the useful cards and they already add 120 more. It’s like they let pro-players who play it as their day job with sponsored streams dictate the pace, not caring about the average consumer struggling to catch up.
- 2/3 of the whole collection of cards is useless and instead of balancing it to make it useable they just add new OP cards which will make even more old cards useless in comparison. The classic MtG money machine.
- Splitting the collection between 2 different packs which not only forces you to invest even more gold if you need both old and new cards, but also screws up arena players.
I don’t know how I feel about the new cards. The 3 cost 3/4 mech and the 2 cost 1/2 taunt with divine shield are power creep, personified.
yeah i’ve always felt like hearthstone kind of says fuck you to people in the middle.
people who play casually and just do dailys probably don’t care about not having all the cards and just kind of dink around.
people who are infinite in arena and can grind out gold efficiently have all the cards and don’t really care.
people in the middle just grind for 10 gold for 3 wins and don’t have the gold to be able to play constructed seriously.
TBH getting into the infinite group or dropping cash is all you can really do.
If you also count the quests then I also go infinite in Arena but the process is still slow as hell. A really good arena run can take 90 minutes even. Dropping cash also doesn’t help at the point I’m at.
I mean without the quests.
And yeah when you get to a certain point, packs are not that valuable outside of dust created.
They have 2 premade decks to choose from, preist gnome or mage goblin. Everyone is playing goblin
